I too would like to see that- but yeah, it seems like the coach just cut the cord with him and let him go. I see the word released, which leads me to believe that he did have a contract- but then again, I want something concrete. TSL should scan the contract and post it on the internet. that would be pretty awesome lol

So Korean prop houses pay their b teamers but don't have legal contracts with them? LOL, why haven't we seen this kind of thing before then? No contract, no problem. I repeat: NO CONTRACT, NO PROBLEM. I think it might be considered like no fixed contract. This issue came up with European soccer law about 20 years ago, some Dutch guy can't remember his name but he changed how the law works in Europe. Basically you sign a player for 2 years(for example), after 2 years you can still keep paying them to play for you but another team can sign him on a free contract. During the initial 2 years an opposing organisation would have to pay a transfer fee. They had to make it like this otherwise people could be abused (like the Dutch player was being) where a team would not play them or give them updated contracts but demanded unrealistic transfers to lose them. EDIT: just found it, it's the Bosman ruling. (not Dutch, Belgian) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosman_ruling SC2 may need something like this but I am guessing that it is not possible at the moment. eSports is at a stage of being an amateur occupation with prize money much like athletics etc. I mean, EG aren't providing pensions and healthcare plans to their players I assume.

So no it wont degenerate the business credibility at all!

Teams don't finance themselves with prize money, ever.

If TSL didn't contract them, it's 100% their fault. Some teams may choose not to contract b-teamers because if the b-teamers start performing poorly there's no obligation to hold onto them. If that's the case, TSL can't complain - they have the right to drop the B-teamers at any time... the B-teamers should be able to leave.
