Puma is not an idiot, and does not need to be babied. Looking down on a team for approaching a player is a bit ridiculous.

Same stuff happens all the time in sports - take football for example - random teams and even national teams buy/nationalise foreigners because of they talent. Such reaction to this situation just shows that majority of people coming here are detached from normal life and can't compare this to what is standard in other branches of life. I don't see your point. Same thing happens all the time in football, guess what? Tons of people also hate it in football as well, except in that sport you might be physically threatened if you try to leave the team. Sane people who place loyalty above this kind of opportuntiy aren't detached from real life, they just have a different opninion. Stay classy.

See: Gom BW tournaments, etc. stop people from joining tournaments? gom wasnt kespa-sanctioned, but thats it. people still participated. gom had no reputation, so people like jaedong and flash would favour the msl and osl because they are competitive and winning golden badges/mice is the way you prove you are the best. i mean ffs, flash doesnt even see his money, he just lets his parents take care of it i am a bit sad that gom didnt take off, although osl/msl + proleague is already hectic enough. wonder how well gom wouldve slotted in with that

The potential finally gets a chance to shoot a film, comes back and tell you that you're no longer his agent. How do you feel? As an agent you normally sign a contract with your star in order to profit from your work as well. Why didn't he? And to be honest I fail to see any pulled gigs and strings for puma. He became well known after winning NASL. Maybe they paid his flight. That's all as it seems.

I can't imagine him benefiting at all from practicing with the EG team, considering how much better he is than everyone on the team. Well, Puma is well known for being one of the greatest all-time practice partners. Maybe the focus of the decision was more to provide the other members of EG the best possible XvT practice environment than to maximize Puma's training. Obviously there's no information available on what EG is paying Puma, but I could imagine a situation in which they offered a stable salary that would be more attractive than the uncertain income of tournament wins. Plus, even without the ideal training environment, it's not like Puma's going to have trouble getting into the money in Western tournaments.

Not exactly the most aspiring position. He was fortunate enough to get into the NASL and show us what he's made off. But anyways if EG offered him a much better deal and living conditions what do TSL expect?

That being said, if it turns around and happens to EG they shouldn't expect anyone to be sobbing.

They'll just be more strict about contracts. Where there is money to be won, they will be there.
