It isn't so much 1 troll at a time, as carpet bombing.

Why are people so afraid of everything in society today? Better yet, if you got a call from 2000 miles away.. my god lighten up people. Its the internet.. if you can't handle criticism, negative talk, or people hating on you, then don't go in the lime-light. Once you are in the lime-light you accept that you are the center of attention and people will say negative things towards you. Look at celebrities for example.. they accept the fact and understand its part of the industry. Tabloids, etc. I'd keep them on the line as long as possible. Rack up that bill!

Concerning the Haeun_Cielu case - overreacted. So - 50/50? Also looking at that 16year old girl incident - imho KKY lost it. Also considering she herself stated that she's insecure in English (and lets oniontaker translate for her) - which is totally fine. She's lashing out to anyone - even making a fool of herself. I also dont know if she's really helping Eve. Because of KKY's reaction more and more people know of these pics. I have the feeling it's more about her injured pride and about herself - not about Eve. Why not just say "We will report offenders to the police" and then do it? No need for all the "I REPORT YOUU!!!!!" "AND YOUUU!!!!" stuff. Or releasing pictures of the paper stacks and releasing names (not sure about this - but why else would Haeun_Cielu now about it?) Maybe she should let someone else, who's not that emotionally involved, handle the whole situation.

Its never that simple. Thanks for the "What If's" to my "What If". Some of you guys are acting like you have to pull your dick out and slap someone across the face with it for it to be sexual harassment. Seriously how can you not understand, they bullied her online using pictures of sexual intercourse (which she was actually not apart of *SHOOCK*). I'm not going to define what bullying is, but if you don't think that photo shopping can be a form of harassment or bullying..... *facepalm* Seriously, some teenage girl just committed suicide because kids wouldn't stop texting her and leaving comments on her FaceBook. And she was not famous.

Jessica's reaction might be normal by Korean standards (in which case I'm glad I don't live there) but to me, it's just batshit insane. Yes, a place where people are taught to respect others and spewing disgusting garbage online isn't accepted as the norm. I sure would HATE to live there. Sounds just awful.

Why do people always result to suicide when there are other ways to get help.

In all fairness as long as the poster doesn't know that the "target" visits the board there's no way it can be bullying or harassment, unless they incite others to post it to sites where the "target" does visit. The act of creation cannot in itself ever be part of bullying or harassment.

But yes, if someone posts they dick online and says they want to fuck Angelina Jolie, I don't think that every one of those guys is a threat to her. So yes, the person may live 2000+ miles away from you and pose little threat, it's very different from going up to someone and saying, "I'm going to fuck you". I don't think you're getting my point. It's not the same in Korea. PLEASE try to understand that. The dude I mentioned that lived in Chicago was not a threat at first - he was harmless. Then it became national news dude and eventually scarred Tablo and his family for life. They were getting death threats in another part of the world. At this point I think you are just trying to win an argument on your opinion of who is and is not a potential threat in Korea, but don't grasp the social and cultural differences the country has from our own.

But it's also clear that public life as a single, working, divorced mom — still a pariah status in South Korea — That's pretty sad and wrong. Jessica might try to focus on changing that instead of hunting internet trolls......

I'd rather everyone threw criticism and insults around so people could try to understand and appease them than everyone went around with a hollow smile on their face. It's like telling people how to live without telling them why. In the U.S., all 50 states have laws that prohibit online stalking, harassment, and bullying. Why should you be allowed to harass another person on the Internet without consequence? I can't believe people are actually defending those who viciously attack others on the Internet.

I mean threats, sure, take personal threats to the police if you actually feel threatened. That's fine. But this? WTF? And I never knew about the defamation of Flash case before. Why is that even a thing? People can't just... talk shit?
