As much as I hate to see iNcontroL leave as a caster, I can't wait to see him kick more SC2 butt.

Gl with your training man!

The right move tbh. This is the only way he can improve

At least now I might actually watch NASL. Not trying to flame, he just wasn't my favorite caster

<3 InControl. I think this was a good choice, though I will certainly miss the casting. I'd love for him to get a real nice tournament win like MLG or Dreamhack or something. He totally deserves it.

Even though Incontrol was pretty much the only good part about NASL (besides Boxer owning everyone), I think this was a good move.

iNcontrol is still a too good player to cast full time.

I hope he can achieve everything he strives for as he is a nice guy with a great love for the game and scene.

All the best!

Incontrol is a decent caster ,and gretorp is a decent caster, I just didn't like their chemistry, personally. Sometimes it even seemed like they were getting on each other's nerves!

So I'm looking forward to seeing who is going to be the permanent caster. It's too bad that Day9 is so wrapped up in his dailies that he can't take an opportunity like this
Playoffs? You're talking about playoffs?

Not good for NASL I feel. Casterwise they now might be the weakest competitor with INC leaving. Xeris+Gretorp didn't work out (for me) at all, and while I find it hard to define the requirements of an awesome caster NASL certainly lacks some "personality" in front of the camera.

With the field of known casters (commenting ones own stream is obviously very different from performing in front of a camera) so small at the moment- why not host a small casting competition. A caster casting so to speak, hah.

Give out the same 3 replays (awesome, tactical and a boring one) and see how people manage to meet the challenges for casters that come with these. Have them webcam themselves while casting. Offer a small price+ tryouts. Caster problem fixed- yw!

Alternatively you could just perma-enslave Khaldor, me likes.

I truly appreciate all the words of support guys.. means a lot.

A lot have speculated on my decision to leave and talked about how I am giving up something I am better at (commentating or being a public persona etc) and I fully understand those perspectives. I haven't won any major tourneys and while I have had decent showings and done fairly well in other events (Cw's, ladder, online tourneys etc..) none of it is top-notch. I want to be top-notch. I am happiest when I am playing better and better. I love being a leader and speaking to people on large platforms but that is not my guiding light.. playing at the highest level is.

When I move into the house with IdrA/Machine/iNkA and then move into the EG house roughly in August (Maybe July) I will be going there to commit myself to be the best player I can be. That means I will train harder and more than I ever have. I will utilize my team and friends like I have only when I stayed in korea for a week with IdrA (Where I nearly doubled in skill). Anna will move in with us as well and really jump-start her eSports career by hosting content, helping manage our team and doing other entrepreneurial activities.

I will still do Inside the Game. I will still be a guest on SOTG and various other shows like TL Attack and Kings of Tin. I will still have an opinion and I will still strive to grow and improve this community. I will simply have more time to do those things WHILE spending more time than ever focusing my time and energy on becoming the best I can.

I want to commentate in the future as I enjoy it and think I can contribute there as well. But living in Ontario and being relied on to cast every day for 7 or more hours is a LOT to ask.. especially given my true desire to be a top level player.

I will have 3 weeks to train hard core for MLG Anaheim. After that, every MLG will be a target. NASL season 2 (as a player) will be a target. And my dream of going to the EU will become true.. but I will go as the best iNcontroL I can possibly go as! And I hope everyone can get on board with that!

Nice! I'm more excited after reading this... I think it mostly has to do with the fact that you guys will all be training hard in the team house.

agreed.... EG needs that stronger team practice feel and I'm sure that iNcontrol has a lot of skill lying dormant within

Seems incontrol has been trying to decide between his community involvement and being a player for a while, between this and pulling out of State of the Game, it seems incontrol will have a whole lot of time to practice again. Can't wait to see even better play from him

Well incontrol completely deserves time to progame, he already did a lot for the community and helped to create something really cool in USA,but I think what he really likes is to be in the spotilight by playing the game and not casting it.

I enjoyed incontrol's casting and fun banter with gretorp during many NASL games. May you have the best of luck in your future endeavors (which I'm sure will be kicking ass in big tournies).

When I saw the title I thought "Welp, guess the captain ain't going down with the sinking ship" turns out everything went better than expected .

Best of luck to Incontrol and NASL, that you may both improve tremendously.
