Yeah I did see tgun so friggin what you keyboard hero, how about you give them some credit for at least trying. People like you piss me off, you all have some thing to say that's negative never a nice comment or even better how about STFU. Tgun is new and he took that lose hard, give him a break FFS.
You type acronyms in caps lock and call me a keyboard hero. Need I say more?

everyone has bad moments in this game. tonight will only make your next victory all the sweeter! you can do it guys, don't give up!

Playing against the best teams in the world you were bound to hit a landmine at some point. I'm sure you'll rebound stronger than before, good luck next week!

I thought NSHoSeo would be easy, but now I'm not so sure :/
Oh well, FXO is always going to be the underdog. They'll grab a few victories.

Best of luck in the future.

Why does fxo always recruit subpar and overrated sc2 players. Looking at the lineups, I never expect any of them to win. Not surprised they got all killed last team match. I know many of you guys agree with me, but aren't willing to admit it.

every team has its moments. But no one in korea is bad at the game. You will find that people in team leagues who are unknown, will shine. Because even code C D E F G are really good. Thats just such a high density of good players in Korea.. Hack played really well, and he did deserve to win. He has shown how zenex has worked to improve their GSTL experience. Unfortunately, FXO doesnt have the same amount of time to prove itself, so we will try to do our best in the time we have.
Thanks again guys. Time for some sleep!

I asked in the LR but you could obviously not read everything: do you guys have some kind of mental coach? because as much as skill, practice and experience are important, going in the booth with the good state of mind and tips not to shake could be a real plus! I mean MoOnan is far better than what he showed today, and nobody can't blame him to shake a little from the pressure this must be! Since FXO is giving so much to succeed (which explains all the enthusiasm around the team) a mental coach could be a good addition to your house on the day before team matches. don't give up!!
FXO fighting!

Remember it´s still your first GSTL, and the korean teams has probably lived and practised together alot longer then you have. You will only improve from this experience, don´t give up guys we believe in you FXO fighting!!

Nice try guys! You definitely have the ability to take the rest of your matches, so don't be brought down by your recent two losses. You guys are so inspirational to me and all of the community so please keep fighting for us! FXO FIGHTING.

We are trying to deal with the mental stuff together as a unit. Unfortunately, there isnt budget to add another member of staff to the trip. However, I personally wish I did have some sort of mental coach here. It is effecting players, which is why sheth will not be returning to code A next season. Things are more difficult then they seem. Its not because of Korea. Its just because things are not 'home'.
The unfortunate thing is people deal with mental stuff differently. I used to hate cameras, but now I am relatively comfortable with them. But I can see and know that it is very difficult to have a camera in their face.
There can also be some lifestyle issues that are part of the problem, but unfortunately things like that are almost impossible to fix from the otherside of the world . I think you will see a fresher brighter team against ns.hoseo.
Thanks for the question and support!

Keep fighting guys! Dont let the losses get to you. Its only natural to loose the first ones. New enviroment etc. FXo whiting!

Don't worry FXO. Part of learning and improving is losing, each loss is something to learn from, each GSTL match is new practice partners to meet. Reasonable people know that you're in a journey and that journey will include some days like this one. Don't be discouraged, keep fighting and training and you'll end up being stronger than ever !

When this argument comes up that unexperienced players should play for future events, it's never mentioned that there also could be negative effect. If you send out players who are not really that stable with their play it could happen that such devastating loses like today demotivates them. I think it would be better if they get more experience with korean players on ladder and custom games. But every person is different so it isn't sure which is the best way to do it. I can understand why fxo didn't send out Qxc and Sheth. I don't think Qxc is much better than Mooman if at all and Sheth already lost a game that day but I think he would have done better than most players today.
|
To be honest I would consider a team assembled of the top 5 foreign players huge underdogs against any korean team, so it's obviously very tough.
Keep fighting I guess.

It's very visible that for some people playing in a booth in korea with a camera in their face is very nerve wrecking. I've seen how some of your players were shaking slightly when they sat in their booth and waited for the game. It's very hard to deal with it and anyone in this thread who bashes your team for not bringing the A-game should try it before saying anything bad.
IIRC most of FXO don't have (a lot) LAN experience. I can only think of QXC who has been to some LANs, so it's a good decision of you to let the less LAN-experienced players play a few games, even if it means risking an all-kill. It would be a waste for the players to be in korea and _not_ sit in the booth at least once, even if it's just for the experience. Your team will be far stronger in NA/EU LAN tournaments after this.
You are doing a great job in korea, keep it up and don't think too much about the losses. (Almost) all the foreigners are behind you.
