@eltese: The MP3's are generated from BLIP.tv. Sometimes the conversion is fast, other times it's slow as fuck. But it's certainly not us attempting to make you wait longer. If I could have it my way, the fucking technology would auto post that shit the moment I finish broadcasting. If only JTV realized how much they could help broadcasters by making some basic functionality available. I keep mentioning it, but I don't think it's an immediate priority.

Would also be fun if they could get 2GD on live, to dicuss his latest talk about the MLG Live drama. Today on the Rakaka podcast 2GD said that Sundance was lying about the whole thing on Twitter.

People will take your interpretations as facts and use them all over the forums. I mean, this isn't a news show -- you're not just going to talk about the article but use that to make some really weird conclusions without knowing much about the Korean scene at all... it's going to be extremely silly. There are also still no "translations" regarding the WCG on OGN thing, btw, just my one line tweet and a grossly misinterpreted chinese translation of the TIG original

Please cover the dota 2 gamescom tournament information. 80,000 dollars dota 2 tournament to be held at gamescom. The exact prize pool is still not confirmed but everything else is. Valve is flying in a LOT of chinese dota teams to the event. It's something like 14 teams of 5 players will be invited to gamescom (full expenses paid) It is very credible given that chinese teams talked about it in interviews and the letters themselves have been leaked. Valve seems to be extremely behind Dota 2 as an esport.. which is pretty big news in itself http://www.dota-two.com/dota2-presentation-countdown http://esfiworld.com/news/dota2-80000-gamescom-tournament-confirmed So, what are the latest news? Well, we have had some really tiny bits and pieces of information these past days. For once, we have the "confirmation" that Valve will be showing DOTA 2 at GamesCom, as we can see in the official site of the fair Valve is presenting a strategy game. At the same time, we hear a lot about the new Steam delivery system. Moreover, it is now clear that all the rumours some people were spreading about Valve announcing DOTA 2 at the Comic Con in san Diego this year where totally off. As you can see for yourself in the exhibitors list, Valve is not included, another thing that, again, points to the fact that Valve will be announcing DOTA 2 at GamesCom. Last, but certainly not least, there have been a lot of rumours going on about a DOTA 2 actual Tournament taking place at the GC fair. In particular the sources state that: 8 European Team + 6 Asian Teams get Beta Keys for DotA2 + Travel expenses to Germany and will battle from 17th-21st of August in Cologne in a promotion Tournament for a 5-digit dollar prize pool. Truth or rumour, we will learn soon! [UPDATED]

The Chinese source is still a source that has Lyn/Moon playing WC3 over SC2, it's at least credible. Can't deny the validity in our opinions just because we dont have extreme Brood War legacy - I still do research about the facts. Same goes with Jessica, and the STX trades/free agency.

I'm fine if you guys do that with anything else, but when it comes to anything Korean? I don't think you guys know much about either scene and how they operate =/ PS: Where in the STX say anything about free agency? :O

I looked at the dota 2 server list last night and the only game had 10 people in it. Gonna have to call bogus on you. Again the links I posted actually do provide a lot of evidence.. I mean LGD in a chinese interview talked about the problem with getting visas. http://www.gosugamers.net/dota/news/16165-lgd-interviewed-as-a-team Sometime in August, there will be a game conference (Gamescom) in Germany where there will be a DotA 2 exhibition. Currently, a couple of Chinese teams have received an invitation to participate in a showmatch. Has your team received anything yet? ZSMJ: Yes we have, but we are settling our visa issues at the moment, and it's becoming quite troublesome. I guess that means that LGD might not be attending Gamescom. ZSMJ: It will depend on our visas and how our interview with the German immigration authorities go, so we will see.

Mm that could easily be anything else. Last Night I checked the dota 2 server lists and there where 10/24 in a game. http://www.game-monitor.com/search.php?search=Valve Dota Server&type=server&public=&pg=1 Again the DOTA 2 tournament at gamescom is pretty much overwhelmingly confirmed with letters / interviews with players etc. It's not rumor. (You can ever see they added dota servers for hamburg, germany.)

I find your assertions about our (at least my) knowledge on the Korean scene rather uninformative yourself. I have worked for WCG directly and interacted with OGN staffing heavily from last year, as well as contacts to the main journalists from Fomos, PlayXP and ThisIsGame, whom I talk to semi-regularly for updates and opinions. Additionally, my research is thorough no matter the continent it is happening on.

Maybe have him on the show to jump in and educate the nerds about whats up in Korea. There are a ton of different opinions on SC2 in Korea right now but only very few of them are credible are accurate at all. You may have done your research for the show but the people covering BW have been doing their research for years now. I'll still be tuning in, good luck guys. I have no doubt that Milkis knowledge and history in this area is extremely valuable and welcomed by myself, Wheat and Scoots. We're going to try and do open-phones and I'd love to bring him on ASAP. But to say I/we should not comment on these matters because we don't have proper knowledge of the situation is beyond preposterous and slightly insulting.

What kind of interaction with "OGN Staff", when you don't even speak the same language? "We'll see", I suppose. Your call in the end, but I'd honestly be a bit more careful when talking about issues like this, especially when it comes to the scope of things.
