Conspiracy theory - MinoMino canceled his Clide trade last minute but the change got lost because sYstim is super jealous of me and didn't want me to win so he hacked the fantasy league after last night's results. Bomber's going to be tired and jetlagged. His flight got delayed by the hurricane and he just got back to Korea today. Hasn't been able to practice much, by his own admission. Good luck.  You know if bomber gets sniped and then Squirtle/July all kills, which isn't toooo surprising, I can still pull the craziest friggin win out of my ass. :D Do you think they'll put in Squirtle and July over Ace and Curious, though? ST's already in the playoffs no matter what happens -- it might even be beneficial if they lose this to lock IM out of the playoffs -- so they will probably throw in some of their B-teamers. Curious is apparently ST's best Zerg -- he just has nerve issues and chokes onstage a bit -- and they use him quite often to give him experience, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them use Curious over July. They do use Squirtle more often than Ace, I'll give you that much. Curious is actually a pretty strong player so I don't have a problem with picking him over July at all. Either way. Curious can take two games then Squirtle to win the ace. 4-2 Startale with bomber taking 1 game means godemperor, minomino, and I 3-way tie. Which would be pretty awesome actually.

I think that's correct so far. Unbelievable how close the final leaderboard will be, even to the last day. Here's an analysis of the final point distribution: ST vs FXK One way of looking at each team is that besides the 1pt each member get for winning, their players has a maximum allocation of points amongst themselves: 4 wins, 2pt each = 8pts streak break = 3pts being the last player on deck = 1pt = 12pts to distribute for the losing team, the maximum point allocation is 6pts (3 wins, 2 pts each, no possibility of streak or last-man-on-deck). Therefore, the set can provide a theoretical maximum of 18 pts to a fantasy team, without accounting for if that team has "ST" or "FXK". Only pretensile has ST on his team, and godemperor has FXKorea on his. Therefore, my follow up analysis of the leaderboard will stop at that cut-off point of -18. I can't believe I won without a tie breaker. Out of all the fucking scenarios, bomber losing to lucky followed by an all kill was THE only fucking way I could win without a tie. holy shit.
Btw I've noticed some haters out there. Seriously I enjoy the game and like to talk about it. It's not like I come in here and everything I say is serious. It's a discussion thread for fantasy league, which is what I do. I just talk about all the different things can happen, analyze some numbers, speculate on some players, and joke around with the other people that are talking about the fantasy. Fucking relax. Sure I got lucky sometimes. Luck is half the game in fantasy, it's not so different from poker, it's about managing your odds and risks, after you make your decisions you sit and watch and see what happens. It's not so different from poker. This is the last week and I'm all in with a bunch of players who had better hands. I had one out on the river and I happen to hit it. But all my other hands previous to this week I've shown you exactly what I thought was good or bad and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, I thought for the most part I've just chose my plays carefully. Those who complain that I trade for a lot of starters, well sometimes there's a clear favorite in the match up, and pocket rockets will win most of the time.

Dang, missed top 100 by 8 places (we're all tied until #97 not sure how it's determined.)
However, I got 3rd for most points gained by trading (+46) behind MrBorto and dapanman

Well I'm pretty happy nonetheless! Highest placing team that didn't pick DRG by a huge margin (I don't count teams that traded him away half way through). If I had drafted DRG I would have been right at the top with the rest of you ballers.
Secret to my success: only -6 from the antiteam thanks to my awesome NesTea antiteam pick. Plus trading every single week to try and make up for really poor draft choices.

I got 86th place with zero trades on my active roster. But I lost 27 points just off of my stupid anti-team... if I hadn't, guess who I would've tied with (without using DRG once, save on my anti)? Mrbamboo himself.
Next season? Make fewer stupid decisions on my anti team

The only way for this to get any tighter is if Bomber won the first match and Curious only got 3 kills after. Then I'd literally win the 3-way tie breaker due to DRG captain.
Crazy good games. I feel like I played too safe the last few weeks after I got ahead. I didn't want to take as many risks and lose my lead. TheBest trade that I talked up few weeks ago comes to mind, shouldn't have canceled that in favor of safe starter wins for mere 1-2 point gains. The only real gamble I took was on jjakji and sage doing well, I kept them both for like 6 weeks and they netted maybe 4 points for me, really wasted great potential for those 2 spots consider how high their trade values were. I got pretty lucky in the end to come out an unlikely win. I only said Bomber is gonna lose because that was the only way I could win.
Looking forward to next season. I'll definitely continue to share my thoughts and speculations here

But nice team nonetheless. That's why I was really against grabbing nani/thor at the start of the season. Few options to trade for midway through. Most people got extremely lucky because Moon/Lyn decided they were going to focus 100% on WC3. If they practiced SC2 exclusively, good chance that Lyn/Moon would have grabbed some kills and got more anti-points for some people.

Lyn was probably one of the best anti team members, did he get a single win? That's like -2 points over the whole season for 5 trade value if I remember right.
