In terms of anti-team, fruit dealer was a great choice even before we found out the team switch because he's been slumping and he had huge fantasy cost to fill up that 13 points. He was like the most common anti-team pick because of that.
Lyn was a pretty obvious pick as well due to him valued at 5 points and isn't very good. Moon at least has shown some capabilities in foreign tournaments. And he also meant you couldn't lose anti the first 5 weeks.
I had picked San at beginning for my 3rd anti. Before week two I traded him for Maka because at the time I thought everyone in NSHs is bad like everyone else and was afraid to see San play and get some lucky wins. I did pick up Sage because he got top 4 in the LG 3D tournament which really helped my momentum. A lot of people will criticize that I trading Maka for PuMa in the small time frame when PuMa traded out to EG is bullshit. But honestly it wasn't even a good trade, If I stayed with Maka I'd lost 2 less points because TSL won all their games.

Great season guys. Can't wait to do this again I learned so much about so many players I would normally have never heard of. Can't wait to see how much its going to cost to own DRG next season :/

Conspiracy theory - MinoMino canceled his Clide trade last minute but the change got lost because sYstim is super jealous of me and didn't want me to win so he hacked the fantasy league after last night's results. Bomber's going to be tired and jetlagged. His flight got delayed by the hurricane and he just got back to Korea today. Hasn't been able to practice much, by his own admission. Good luck. Curious is apparently ST's best Zerg -- he just has nerve issues and chokes onstage a bit -- and they use him quite often to give him experience, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them use Curious over July. They do use Squirtle more often than Ace, I'll give you that much. Curious is actually a pretty strong player so I don't have a problem with picking him over July at all. Either way. I think that's correct so far. Unbelievable how close the final leaderboard will be, even to the last day. Here's an analysis of the final point distribution: ST vs FXK One way of looking at each team is that besides the 1pt each member get for winning, their players has a maximum allocation of points amongst themselves: 4 wins, 2pt each = 8pts streak break = 3pts being the last player on deck = 1pt = 12pts to distribute for the losing team, the maximum point allocation is 6pts (3 wins, 2 pts each, no possibility of streak or last-man-on-deck). Therefore, the set can provide a theoretical maximum of 18 pts to a fantasy team, without accounting for if that team has "ST" or "FXK". Only pretensile has ST on his team, and godemperor has FXKorea on his. Therefore, my follow up analysis of the leaderboard will stop at that cut-off point of -18. Sure I got lucky sometimes. Luck is half the game in fantasy, it's not so different from poker, it's about managing your odds and risks, after you make your decisions you sit and watch and see what happens. It's not so different from poker. This is the last week and I'm all in with a bunch of players who had better hands. I had one out on the river and I happen to hit it. But all my other hands previous to this week I've shown you exactly what I thought was good or bad and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, I thought for the most part I've just chose my plays carefully. Those who complain that I trade for a lot of starters, well sometimes there's a clear favorite in the match up, and pocket rockets will win most of the time.
You didn't get lucky "sometimes". You got lucky all the time. In fact, everything you did turned out exactly the way you wanted it to. If I didn't know better I'd think you were from the future. That's not the case, though. You just got extremely lucky with 99% of your trades and won't have the same amount of success next season. That's what pisses me off.

So that's why 11 out of 17 of my trades netted +1 or less. 6 out 17 is 35% success rate. But I guess that's not too far from 99% like you said.
Trading is so great. that's why if you sort the leaderboard by trade gain I'm only rank 6. And everyone traded better than me didn't even break top 40. out of the top 10 traders I'm the only one that got top 10 rank, with Doomville next at rank 14, MrBorto at rank 40, and everyone else rank 70-500.
Everything I want happens, that's why I kept Jjaki and Sage for 6 weeks and they scored like 4 points total in 3 series which nearly cost me the fantasy league. I guess it's skill only if who you think will win wins, cause you know the players and coaches better than everyone else, if you are wrong someone else got lucky. You know what pisses me off, that even though you made the best predictions possible you didn't even break top 200, that's just extreme bad luck. You deserve number one, you will probably win the next fantasy season so I shouldn't even bother entering.

Everyone had a different strategy going in with varying degrees of effectiveness. What some call luck, I call calculated odds.

mrbamboo played fair and within bound of the game rules. It's not like he accidentally trip over the game server like waxangel did to get a better score >.>

Well, the worst anti-team belonged to doomshroom, who also finished with -26 but is ranked second-last due to some tie-breaking voodoo. He picked DRG, Bomber, and LosirA for a penalty of -62.

Considering teams have staggered playing schedules. That wasn't the smartest choice to get the most chances to make points. Its about timing your trades with the playing schedule and then just hope for good luck.

I think that's correct so far. Unbelievable how close the final leaderboard will be, even to the last day. Here's an analysis of the final point distribution: ST vs FXK One way of looking at each team is that besides the 1pt each member get for winning, their players has a maximum allocation of points amongst themselves: 4 wins, 2pt each = 8pts streak break = 3pts being the last player on deck = 1pt = 12pts to distribute for the losing team, the maximum point allocation is 6pts (3 wins, 2 pts each, no possibility of streak or last-man-on-deck). Therefore, the set can provide a theoretical maximum of 18 pts to a fantasy team, without accounting for if that team has "ST" or "FXK". Only pretensile has ST on his team, and godemperor has FXKorea on his. Therefore, my follow up analysis of the leaderboard will stop at that cut-off point of -18. I just talk about all the different things can happen, analyze some numbers, speculate on some players, and joke around with the other people that are talking about the fantasy. Fucking relax. Sure I got lucky sometimes. Luck is half the game in fantasy, it's not so different from poker, it's about managing your odds and risks, after you make your decisions you sit and watch and see what happens. It's not so different from poker. This is the last week and I'm all in with a bunch of players who had better hands. I had one out on the river and I happen to hit it. But all my other hands previous to this week I've shown you exactly what I thought was good or bad and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, I thought for the most part I've just chose my plays carefully. Those who complain that I trade for a lot of starters, well sometimes there's a clear favorite in the match up, and pocket rockets will win most of the time. You didn't get lucky "sometimes". You got lucky all the time. In fact, everything you did turned out exactly the way you wanted it to. If I didn't know better I'd think you were from the future. That's not the case, though. You just got extremely lucky with 99% of your trades and won't have the same amount of success next season. That's what pisses me off. Deal with it, scumbag! You know what pisses me off, that even though you made the best predictions possible you didn't even break top 200, that's just extreme bad luck.
I was in the top 40 during most of the season, always about 10 points below you. At one point, during the middle of the season, I was 6th. Then EG (I had both PuMa and HuK on my team), qxc and IM's coach happened. They screwed me over so bad that I stopped caring and didn't make a single trade the last few weeks.
I made some reasonable predictions, but absurd things happened. With just 10% of your luck, I would have won this thing. Ezpz.
