I always used 51 so the difference didn't really appear for me.

I used to play CSS and CoD so I've worked quite a while on the best way to set up my mouse. Some day I found a pretty good Blog about this with a lot of information on Windows sensitivity, mouse acceleration...

For me this works perfectly fine so I think it may also fix some issues for other players...

It's exactly what its name is. Depending on how hard or soft you thrust your mouse, accelerations on a mouse react to that speed. I can move my mouse only an inch, but if you thrust it hard enough in that inch, it'll send your cursor across your screen. As a mac user, I've had it integrated and I'm native to accelerations. Recently downloaded a program to disable it, as it's a lot better for your game. Anyways, the general acceptance for sensitivity is 51-54 and a 6-8 on your windows bar.

yeah as people have said already, a few months ago people found out 50% is not the ideal setting.
it's actually not 51%, but 51-54% are all the same setting =)
been using this and 6/11 windows and no acceleration with my xai for a perfect control.

will switch to a puretrak talent/stealth (exactly the same, just size is different and image) and valor soon though

The windows sensitivity doesn't affect anything at all in SC2. I don't know why people keep mentioning it.

lol.. i think your referring to us talk about 1:1 mouse sensitivity. 6/11 is equivelant to 51% percent so its the same speed in game as in windows. thats what 1:1 is.
