I think those are the 3 best examples. Drewbie and Minigun also got better but I wouldn't consider them top calibre players atm.

They've built a lot of great players, so I disagree. Destiny pretty strong ? Really ? Did u just say that Destiny is pretty strong ? Yes Sheth and Major are strong(although Major was on root for like 1 week, so i wouldnt say they made him a great player) aswell as QXC, others are just not that level.

If Kiwi and Slush join Fnatic or Liquid, the team they join becomes my new favorite team. If they join some other team, Dignitas becomes my new favorite team. If they join Dignitas, super cool shit. first thought + Show Spoiler + too many if's use a switch/case ![]() but you're right, whatever team they join will become "a bit more likable" in my book, to say the least ^^

I don't think Destiny is as good as the rest, but I disagree with you in regards to the others not being at that level, and you still named 3 out of the 6 I mentioned, and Minigun is pretty damn good.

That mutli-gaming company has so much money to use for its resources. Its really great to see in e-sports, I'm just shocked and jealous. What? ROOT is not very top tier and is faaaar from the most expensive team. coL does not have that much money either and isn't a big player in teams nowadays anyway.

I mean the only reason I can see that ROOT would choose to sell out to coL is because they already knew KiwiKaki and Slush were leaving. But why would coL pick up Root when the two top players left is beyond me... One thing you have to remember is that Complexity is looking for more than just performance. Compare Catz tournament record vs alot of other zergs. and he is kinda terrible (of course he is really skilled but lets face it, his results are just plain terrible) BUUUUT, look how famous he is. anyone would grab him up to have sit on their bench just to bring positive attention to their team. same to a lesser extent with drewbie. that is probably why the deal still went through. complexity isnt gaining much skillwise without slush and kiwi but they are bringing in the potential for some depserately needed positive attention. (thank CrunCher for ruining that for them) so they will still profit from this.

He's admitted himself he says some things now just to cause a stir. I think people should keep in mind that the last time IdrA said Kiwi was bad was after the IPL finals. He did that mainly because he had no other choice since iNcontroL cornered him on SotG and asked him how he, a Zerg that always talks about Protoss being unbeatable and Zerg being unable to get big tournament wins, was able to beat a Protoss and win the IPL.

As far as I know, ROOT was a bunch of random players in the beta that made friends with each other and decided to start a team together. It's different than what you are thinking of but I think the guy is still making an accurate statement. ROOT wasn't a place where an established pro team picked up unproven players and turned them into stars. It was a bunch of unproven players making a team together and being as good as any pro team out there. Of course, anyone who knew the histories of some of those players could make an educated guess that they'd find some success in SC2. But at the time of ROOT's forming, you really had no idea what guys were gonna turn out to be good consistent SC2 players.

![]() Hopefully, KiWiKaKi, Fayth and Slush get on some good teams, I wouldn't be too sad if they followed QXC and Sheth to FXO. Of course, Liquid'KiWiKaKi would be amazing.
