One team noone has thought of(though its unlikely) that either could join is Sixjax, the team has potential and could use both of them

Terran- Major/DDE/Cocoa

Zerg-VIBe/SLush

Protoss-Kiwi/ noone (sorry, no other decent protoss, and no Artosis doesnt count and really isnt a decent one either)

that would make for a decent team.

Do they use the old root roster of the EG masters cup or is that all done?

Congratulations CompLexity.

Perhaps KiWi and Slush will go to a new team?

Well... Fuck.

FXO is starting to feel like the Yankees. I hate the freaking Yankees.

Wow...

My thoughts... pretty much EXACTLY...

lmao

That's why I loved ROOT, they picked up players and build them up.

what building did they do though? really?

they picked up major which was huge for them. then basically told him we cant support you, even though he was clearly going to be their big hitter. so he understandably left.

they picked up destiny when people still believed he might become a big name, but since then hes fallen back into a streams-a-lot-funny-guy.

the first team to be able to put together any kind of pro house, and none of their players have become better because of it. their best players dont even live in the house.

its all well and good rooting for the underdog but you cant argue that root are the estro of america

QXC, Sheth and Kiwikaki were all unknown and improved during their time with Root. I think those are the 3 best examples. Drewbie and Minigun also got better but I wouldn't consider them top calibre players atm.

Drewbie has more tournament wins than both qxc and Sheth and more prize money earnings than Sheth.

You cannot compare it by that though. QXC and Sheth play in more difficult, high level tournaments. Drewbie is just a go4sc2/craftcup hero.

Huh? Drewbie placed higher than qxc in MLG's and has more than double the prize money of Sheth. Seriously WTF? How am i supposed to compare according to you?

the best two players chosing not to switch is nothing to blame them for. I think they can find a "better" team, if they not already did. good luck 2 all of them!

A somewhat bittersweet acquisition. It's a little bit sad to see ROOT lose its independence but exciting to see them join a well-established e-sports team/organization in Complexity.

Good luck!

Edit: Where'd Sundevil go? D:

Im 99% sure that Sundevil is IGN.Alex and he now works for IGN, on the IPL

I don't think that's really a possibility, I'd be super surprised if that happens. I feel like Kiwi and Slush will probably be a packaged deal, and I don't think Artosis would pick up Slush if he still has some bitterness from ages ago. I dunno, I just wouldn't peg this as likely.

Its a shame that they lost Kiwikaki and Slush, the the people they picked up are no slouches for the North American scene. Drewbie may have had a bad weekend in MLG Columbus, but he had a solid showing in MLG Dallas 2011, going 3 and 1 in group play. He has had consistent results in various small online tournaments. Minigun is young, but he has also enjoyed online success, sniping some big names in various tournaments and showmatches. CatZ has also enjoyed some success in the online tournament scene, winning the JTV invitational, where he took out Mana and ppgBubbles.

Destiny has enjoyed less success in game, but is a very public figure in the community. When it comes down to it, sponsors care about exposure of their products more then anything else. Destiny brings that to the table.

Kiwi and slush to EG?????? That would be a SWEET PICK UP!

If that happened, there would be an undisputed North American Power house. Just need to pick up a good Terran and it's GG NO RE for the continent of North America. Kinda doubt it will happen though.

Wait does this work like other professional sports where Kiwi and Slush are under contract, and Root has to sell their contracts?

What do you mean when you say "Minigun is young"? I think Minigun is 20 years old?
