Hey TL community this is my first post so here it goes.
I have searched everywhere and heard many arguments saying it makes it drop drastically and others that say it will just drop it like a normal loss.
So what i'm asking is does anyone have and evidence or a good explanation for how it works, as my internet can go funny in games usually early game and wanted to know if its affecting me in a terrible way.
Thank Beavers
It's quite interesting for me to hear some players think disconnecting would drop your MMR more than usual. There is no rational reason for that to be true, at least none I can think of right now.
Leaving MMR unchanged or lowering it less can not be done either, as the losing players would then simply disable their network when losing and experience a smaller MMR drop.
The only rational decision is to say "too bad, man" to the player getting dropped and count the disconnect as a normal loss for MMR and stats. Luckily, Blizzard employees think rationally and have adopted this ^_^
