Just like how GSL gave spots away and let FXO into their team team to get more foreign viewers, this will help MLG get a lot more Korean interest. If MC was in the open brackets, they wouldn't be able to see him play at all until the second day. Have to try hard not to insult you, but you really don't have any idea what was going on with FXO & GSTL. GOM wanted a 10th team and there was no Korean team able to field a roster for the tournament. FXO was the ones that took the opportunity give to them, as it was FXO or no 10th team. MC is also replacing a spot that was already in the Championship bracket. This close to the tournament, there's no reason to completely mess up the setup when you can replace 1 for 1.
Ho Seo has enough. The schedule from the start said 10 teams. Then FXO got introduced and the schedule has to be changed since there is now 11 teams. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. It's all good. But it's annoying for people to say, 'OH MY GOD! THEY'RE CATERING TO KOREANS!' when GSL is also doing all they can to let foreigners play in their leagues. They even said that foreigners could go on other teams as snipers.
And I LIKE that MC was the one put into the Championship Bracket. I was just trying to explain that MLG/GSL are giving and taking. No one is catering to the other. MLG wants to get Korean viewers. GSL wants to get foreigner viewers. To do this, they exchange talent.

It's a joke, a reference to some Moon said iirc.

Perfect :D July gonna win MLG e-z

yay for MC, he has been playing abroad alot more than bomber though so I would rather have seen bomber at MLG. Best of luck to MC.

Is that really fair to Bomber's pool at MLG? With a small set of players in a pool, I'm sure Select/Idra/Ret/Tyler at least prepared somewhat for Bomber. Now all of a sudden they throw in MC at the last minute? Unless he's going into the Open Bracket, that doesn't seem fair to the other pool members...

Unfair in what way, practice?
I don't think MC was prepared as well, so they're probably on even footing. They'll think of something on the fly.

Don't worry guys, there will be some europeans.

Hm, that's a good point. I guess it's just an adjustment for everyone then.

I HIGHLY doubt it.. What GSL WC and TSL has shown us that even the top Koreans can get rolled with adequate preparation. From what I've seen, foreigners are also much more willing to prepare for Koreans than the Koreans are willing to prepare for foreigners. Korean arrogance will cost them more games than they would like...

hope we can see a rematch between thorzain and MC live :D

This.
You've seen what europeans can do. But nonetheless, it's freaking amazing that MC and July are going to MLG. Will produce some incredibly intense and entertaining games.
