Just like how GSL gave spots away and let FXO into their team team to get more foreign viewers, this will help MLG get a lot more Korean interest. If MC was in the open brackets, they wouldn't be able to see him play at all until the second day. Have to try hard not to insult you, but you really don't have any idea what was going on with FXO & GSTL. GOM wanted a 10th team and there was no Korean team able to field a roster for the tournament. FXO was the ones that took the opportunity give to them, as it was FXO or no 10th team. MC is also replacing a spot that was already in the Championship bracket. This close to the tournament, there's no reason to completely mess up the setup when you can replace 1 for 1.

There are a few real good ones, but Dreamhack Summer will be the true test for koreans against the very best foreigners. Whilst a Korean will probably win the tournament, I'm tipping at least a couple of upsets along the way. It's a good lineup, not as stacked as Dreamhack but there are some excellent players there that will test the koreans.

Just depends how they're playing this weekend. The Koreans make up at least 3 of those (MC, MMA & July). We don't know what Losira's ZvZ is like at the moment & he's gotta deal with TLO. TLO alone could easily put him on tilt for the tournament. (You know Dario has something special just for Losira) There's simply a lot of really good players in this tournament. We're actually only a few Koreans short of the best possible tournament field available.

FXOBoss specifically said that GOM sought out a 10th team when there wasn't going to be a Korean one.

I'm sure we'll see a few upsets but at the end of the day, I guess we'll see plenty of Koreans late in the tournament.
