Unfortunately there's not much they can do. CSN decided to run a tourney to send a Korean player to MLG without any partnership with MLG. They're paying for his travel expenses (I think) and stuff, but there's little they could have done to promise a direct seed into group play. The MLG-GSL exchange program was announced much later than CSN's thing, and they are not related to each other at all. It's not like GSL was like yo MC yo are better than July so we are going to give you the better seed and July can fight his way through open bracket.
I am not arguing that MC shouldn't be there, I'm very happy that he is going, was just pointing out how silly it is to say that MC has gained an advantage over the other players in group C.

I don't know how to argue against this. I'd say you're the winner.
Congratulation.

It's pretty silly to say that MC is at an advantage over players in his group. He isn't any more prepared to play against them than they are prepared to play against him - and will be jetlagged on top of it. If anything, group C just got ever so slightly easier (assuming MC and Bomber are of roughly equal 'general skill', anyway)

MC gains no advantage over the other players in the group(The only person who has a right to complain is July who won a tourny to get his spot in open bracket.) he has just as little(if not less due to travel time) preparation time for these matches, at least the other competitors knew who they were playing in every other match except the vs bomber match and prepared for it accordingly...

Though I did gain respect for him on the SotG the other night when he stated he won't wont change his attitude just because people don't like it, but even with that I despise his out look on the games and how he reacts to losing. well you do realize a very large portion of the population rages in video games, yes me too , esp when it feels like you shouldnt have lost, which to most people is usually never. Sure idra rages but so does alot of other people. The other thing i see people critique him about, which i find a little silly, is when he doesnt gg, It really is a difference of opinions here, personally i feel if it wasnt a GG i wont gg, he does the same thing, its not like you HAVE to say gg at the end of the game, I really feel people have to get away from this crap about having huge biases towards players. IRL most people arent so bad if you get to know them.. especially if they have the same passion for similar interests

Idra gonna be so mad ^^ He's always complaining about korean protoss. Will be interesting to watch however since he was actually quite close to cracking MC at dreamhack, and since then zerg have really been clawing their way back into the running in that matchup.

Lol July, in the Open bracket ... oh dear lordy!

Ya it will definitely be an interesting match up, and zergs have been doing well since. Really there was only a brief moment of MC winning the GSL and Cruncher beating IdrA that made everyone overreact, but now it is clear that zergs are doing fine so hopefully he will be in a better mindset to beat MC.

Idra how ever bring it to a whole new level, every lose is either because his opponent used an "all in no skill" strat or his race is "OP" never has Idra lost because he was simply outplayed. I have 0 problem with not GG'ing, I don't gg in probably close to 50% of my lost games due to frustration, but the constant whine and BM of Idra just annoys me, some find it entertaining and if you do thats your opinion and until recently I thought it was hilarious but its grown tiresome for me he's turning into the Sydney Crosby of sc2 great skill but a constant whiner and I despise that(This coming from a Canadian, his gold medal goal glroy can only last so long...)

Not that MC is a bad choice but I don't understand why tourneys aren't inviting Nestea. Is he just too good to invite or what. He deserves some invites to foreign tournaments
