Dear FXOpen,
I think that what your doing is good for your players. Geting all of them together in one house for a couple of months, and the fact that that house is in korea is great. It will provide a very good pratice enviroment for them and they will also get experience in playing one of the most competitive tornament in the world. But aside from that you can't expect much from the fans. Becouse your player are yet to win a big tornament (if any of them have I'm not aware, and I think most people aren't). I've seen most of your player in tornaments and although qxc and moonan and moonglade are fine players, they seam to lose in the end. Qxc is also on a slump latelly. Moonglade, even though I rooted for him, did horribly in the gsl, and he is one of your teams stars. Sheth is awesome and thats why most of the positive coments are about him (or qxc becouse he still has fans even when he is not performing). I don't think he won anything big, but most high level pro gamers are scared when they have to face him, and he often beats them. Thats puts him in the top. Having promising player like moonan, qxc and moonglade is not enough to win people over. You either need more top-level players like Sheth or you need to show real results. Win a mlg, dreamhack, tsl or something. And sudenly you will have all the fans you can handle. For now people are skeptical and they have a reason to be. In the end this is your oportunity to do great for the fans. I hope your team can get a few wins there. If they do, you will probabily get a much better reception in the comunity next time you anounce something. Gl with your trip. And please, stop taking player from root. They don't have the money to compete with you, but they have great hearts.

this is great news. FXO fighting!

for the people who say that FXO has no experiance with the korean playstyle: there is a tournement called fxopen invitational where plenty players from Prime, IM and oGs take part and play against FXO players, so inform yourself before posting pls

Dear FXOpen,
Good job pushing eSports to another level. A foreigner team competing in a Korean team league?! That's AMAZING. That's AWESOME. It's something I never really expected to see, and I can't tell you how exciting it is. I honestly can't fathom why anyone would have anything negative to say about this, but you should just ignore them. Train your snipers. Have cool ceremonies/team spirit. This is going to kick some ass! Keep giving players the chance to compete at the highest level. It's great for the eSport and for the players.

I'm so psyched on this. I have a new reason to watch the GSTL. I'm calling a Sheth all-kill right now. Grats FXO. I don't know why there should be any negativity. Just going to Korea will level up the FXO guys so much.

What about including some imba.FXO players on your Korean roster? I think Strelok and LoWeLy would be able to help you a lot. They are probably the 2nd most consistant Terran and one of the best Zerg in Europe (problably ranked 3rd or 4th...) now. And more Strelok has already beaten many korean progamers in his sc2 career (squirtle, zenio, check, nada,...).

Strelok told us that he is not willing to come to korea. I did approach the idea. Sorry I forgot to mention that earlier.. Lowely is good, but i think Sheth and Tgun at a higher level right now.

Thats too bad, I really enjoy streloks playstyle, and he has already had previous success against many korean code S players in previous FXOpens. Hopefully the other players can step up and show they are also capable of greatness! Either way, this is extremely exciting, and makes for great entertainment FXOPEN FIGHTING!!!!

I had no idea Wolf was an actual player for FXO, I just thought he was associated with the team from the management side, thats cool he is a player of that caliber, it shows in his casting.

And I just realized, are they the only two left? :o Nah they can, but the ogs roster is really deep. For Protoss, they have MC, Hero, and Inca, and for terran they have TOP, Supernova and Nada, so it's hard for jinro or huk to get played. I'd say HuK has a shot, he's kind of like mini-mc, in that he's OK at all mus, but Jinro is a macro terran just like Top and nada, and he's in a slump so he just probs wouldn't be played. Although given prep time he has shown he's a good sniper, so we'll see.
Huk is better than Hero and inca (cept PvP )

Stick to a specific point of criticism someone brought up and put arguments against it ... which isnt the same as saying "this is ridiculous", but which is something like "this is ridiculous BECAUSE OF XYZ". If you cant think of any reasons why that other opinion is wrong / bad, maybe they are right and you are wrong or maybe both could be right?
It is ridiculous because the criticism WAS RESPONDED TO, and the same criticism (especially "why not mouz/EG/dignitas/etc") is being brought up over and over again REGARDLESS of counterarguments.
It is ridiculous because people fail to even read through the whole OP, even less at least a couple of pages of the thread but rather post right out off their a**. And no, you are not supposed to hold their hand and show them how to properly use and behave in forums time and time again.

also, he had a chance:

I'm looking forward to it, even though when they face of IM or oGs they'll have trouble but I think it's gonna be interesting when they face off other teams.

I don't quite understand it either, but I think FXOpen has made two different teams (FXO and imba.FXO). Judging by FXOpen's post, they still wanted to send Strelok despite him being on the other team but he declined.

Razor and Steelseries and Intel all back a number of teams.
Where imbaFXO and FXO differ is that FXOpen is the main sponsor for both - but Boss has made it clear that they are different teams (one focused on Eastern EU, the other on SEA/NA). That said, there's obviously a good opportunity for collusion and player transfers there.
