Im on EU so i cant check. I can't believe this thread is open for such a long time and still no one from the NA server checked this. This thread has lazy readers ^^ or he's not grand master so you can't just pull him up that easily. Euro dumb asses. Someone in here should have a contact in his league: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/2795895/1/anonymous/ladder/35284#current-rankDon't be offended, I just wanted to tease you guys a little. My curiosity got the better of me I do. His games look legit.

According to his match history most of his games are played around 5ish EST which is morning for EU or afternoon for KR. It's likely to be a Korean player just messing around for fun between practice games.

I bet it's just day9. Dont pay attention to it.

Well he has a few achievements (Erector Time, Raining Blood, I See Dead Units, One-Finger Discount) that you would only expect to gain by playing a game rather than drop-hacking etc,and further if he was hacking vs the best in the US you would expect some complaints to be made, and Blizz are known for responding promptly to the very top on issues like this.
Finally the 3rd loss was only 22 games ago, so if there was some funny business that allowed him to get a 72-3 record you would expect the losses to be in the earlier games when the technique was being perfected, or in the most recent games where they do not work well enough to beat the best.
Given the name I would assume it is a Korean looking to practise his secret builds without giving them away in Korea.
Perhaps if we could tell who beat him, or how long the games were, or what time of day they tend to be played, or if someone actually records a replay we would know more about who he is and why his record is so high.
Finally he only has 75 games played, where most of the others have 200-500 so it might not be as representative as the others but it does look fishy when you see the win rates of everyone else at the top..

I played the #2 in his division last night so at worst I'll check in like four hours lol~

He has the siege tank icon with 78 games played ? Am I missing something ?

lol Pillage???
Anyway, I can't see it being a korean, there's no reason they'd practice in such bad lag. Although it could be one of the NASL guys practicing for lag (MLG guys doesn't make sense, as there will be no lag at MLG and nobody plays seriously in ladder anyway, so they wouldn't gain anything), but my best guess would be the smurf of a NA or EU pro.

season 2lol

checked his game list... they are all actual games as opposed to disconnects
have yet to play him so cant give any more beyond that!
|
He's no doubt a legit player as GM friends who've played him said they were just purely outplayed by him..
|
He got some pretty strong anti/safe-cheese build(s) . Such high win rate is amazing, especially if it's a Korean or even European playing with a slight/big latency.

very interested to see whatsup, seems ridiculously good, and people saying he is legit, so my best guess is Bomber training for MLG, perhaps MMA. Other than that simply cant think of anyone else that could be so consistant on foreigner ladder and that would have a reason to play on NA. Maybe happy NA smurf as well, but again i see no reason :p

I'm suspecting a korean terran, like top notch (Code S).. although I don't know how they can sacrifice so many hours wasting their laddering time on NA rather than practicing...
I know for a fact that he is not a hacker. He's in my masters division, #1 obviously and I regularly check his match history.. he doesn't hack.
Althoughh he 2 raxes every tvz and tvt and 1 rax no gas FEs against all protoss.. so if anyone knows a terran who does that maybe we can find this "anonymous"

like i said seems to me only mma and bomber could be allowed to, and would have a reason to train on NA ladder... no clue tho :p

I just checked with my pals in Korea and it's just Flash apparently practising for something big coming up. He's not doing it on KOR so he won't be that easly found. So let's hope GOM will reveal whatever they have in mind soon.
