So i'm just chilling out at work watching gsl and lurking team liquid when I decide to check out sc2ranks.com. First thing i normally do is check out the masters rankings to see what the highest points are at and what my rank is but as I'm looking at the top ranked Masters league players i notice someone with the most ridiculous winrate I've ever seen.
2 Terran anonymous 1,501 75 3

A 96% Terran player with over 75 games played! He's easilly playing top GM players every game and still winning at such a high rate.
Two things come to mind.
1) Korean???
2) Hacker.....
I did a search to checkout if anyone else has said anything and nothing came up.
I wanted to know what you all think of this and who you guys think it is??
My guess its someone like Bomber since he's terran practicing in the north American server before MLG. Clearly it must be a korean player from the awful name choice

It has come to my attention that it might not actually be one of the MLG koreans, unless he's only playing to get used to people's style, which i almost doubt. Most like its a Korean player practicing with the latency for NASL.
Now i'm just wondering why I care so much. It must be because i'm at work and bored to shit waiting for my experiments to finish haha.

This image shows that bomber and MMA's hotkey signature is significantly different from Anonymous, therefore we can safely conclude that its not them!
Now it does look quite similar to IMMVP's signature, which then we can conclude that its POSSIBLY him.
If we now assume that it is MVP for the hell of it, more games and signature of Anonymous and MVP would give us more empirical evidence. Anyways the question is now.... WHY!
Why, is he playing a few game everyday or so on NA, he's clearly not laddering hard on NA or he'd have more then seventy odd games in a month. From what I see people discussing is that he's probably practicing on NA for an upcoming NASL qualifier?? His ladder games are most likely to practice against the veriety of NA strategies and dealing with the lag issues. I'm just surprised that in his match history there's no custom games. I would think that he would be practicing more then couple games a day if he wanted to get used to the delay. Unless the delay is not really a big deal.

It doesn't matter if you've been promoted to GM or not, at that level your still playing GM players every single game. He's currently winning at over 95% against high GM players.

The only way to get promoted to GM is if someone in GM goes inactive for an extended period of time (2 weeks?).

Its US ? If someone is on US just go to the ladder page and right click his name and view profile ingame. Then check his match history and click into one of his matches. Check his build order. If there are valid games or just disconnects.

It's absolutely possible that "anonymous" is that good(Probably a Korean). Look at the next highest win percentage on that list ZeNEXzerO - 75-13 - 85.23% win ratio.

Lol, Happy had ~90% winrate in GM on EU for quite some time. He still has 83% winrate with almost 600 games played. As US is rubbish compared to EU, its highly possible that its happy or some other pro. Kiwikaki for example has 84% winrate and he has been in GM since the start.

Its propably another drophacker(first I think was Pillage with his 75+ to 0) or someone hacked sc2ranks for fun (4chan i guess?)
But he have 3 losses, so I have no idea. Best bet would be to check his match history

Its because its 11am EST and 8AM PST. People who can play during the day are probably asleep and the rest are at work or school Only euro's here it seems.

I don't understand how people get such a crazy win rate... Maybe it's SeleCT's smurf? I know that he always had a crazy record, it was in the high 80's for dome time wasn't it?

It seems more likely to be a Korean progamer, ladder isn't that hard to get a high win rate on for someone that practices 8+ hours a day when 90% of your opponents don't play half that daily.
