Can anyone here hop onto PlayXP or some Korean forums and see what the Korean netizens have to say about this? Would be interested to hear their thoughts.

To me they should have had to fight through the open stages, seeing as now if they win 3 or so series that means they're top 12 and it further saturates the thought that Koreans absolutely shit on foreigners. If they went through open stages like everyone else I'm sure we'd only see 2-3 of them qualify through and then go through what everyone else has to from that point. Then the foreigners would have to go to Code B (which evry foreigner can play at anyways) And if they loose in the Coda A qualifiers AKA code B evryone would say even the korean semi pros are "shittting on foregneirs" What comes around goes around

I hope that more Code A players decide that its worth it to come to MLG and turn MLG into a mini-Code A tourney.

Seems alot better than fighting in Code A for a month, a tourney where the winner doesn't get much. I hope that more Code A players decide that its worth it to come to MLG and turn MLG into a mini-Code A tourney. This is what would pop into mind as well. But people are forgetting that they'll have to win many Bo3? in the Open qualifiers or w/e it was before the Championship pool. This is the same as being code B and trying to qualify for code A. So this exchange of winning MLG means invite to code S and A whilst performing well in GSL means invite to MLG championship pool which is around similar. So I see this as actually a good thing that they managed to make this up.

BUT, I don't know who made these decisions as to who gets to go to MLG. (JP >:O) Sure these people are great players, but people really want to see July Zerg, Mvp, Nestea, MKP, MC, Nada. Hopefully they are saving them for another event.
