He went through a really strong PvP group the first time and MKP/MMA group the second time to secure Code S status. There were plenty of easier groups on both occasions. Anyway, I'm not too ecstatic about this exchange thing. I might be selfish as a team fan, but Liquid invested a lot into their setup in Korea, and suddenly it turns out you can compete in top Korean tournaments while being based on the other side of the globe as a player/team. At least the last time foreigners got Code A invites they were given out to people who resided in Korea for a relatively long term which made sense because those players were dedicated to Korean scene full-time. And it was only a Code A invite as well.

It would make sense to include them because they are part of GSL. That's correct. This program is going to evolve over time, as we will be working much more closely with GSL/GOMTV over time.

Also, I think this has been asked a few times with no response already, but will foreigners be able to stay in Korea longer than the one month if they make it to Code S? If a foreigner were to make it to Code S in Korea, would they still be able to attend future MLGs (how would they be able to pay to fly to MLG and back to Korea, for example). Overall, this might actually be bad for foreigners who wanted to make a living play SC2 because they will have an even smaller chance of placing top 4 now (and the prize money outside of the top four is pretty terrible, like most tournaments). It's also kinda funny that the entire prize pool for MLG Columbus will be about the same cost as flying the four Koreans and Foreigners to and from Korea ![]() Regardless, this is still a pretty cool idea in the short-run, we'll see how it goes! I know I will be watching MLG.

Wow, this is awesome. Would be funny if Idra won again. Losira is definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with, and I think players should specifically focus on their XxZ for the possibility of facing him. Also I think people overestimate MMA, he had a few good games, but he lost decisively to huk in the up and downs. Bomber on the other hand is amazing tvt and terrans should be wetting their pants about now. Time to up the competition. http://www.playxp.com/news/read.php?news_id=2816961 Can anyone translate this and the comments?
