How can you STILL not get that? They repeatedly stated that they are NOT happy with SC2. They complain all the time about Blizzard and Bnet. How can you even think that a question like "are you really fcking happy as to were sc2 is" makes any sense right now?

Just because more people play the custom games doesn't necessarily mean that they are supporting the pro scene at all. As far as I can tell, the people that followed pro BW were the ones that played the normal game. That was just my experience though, I don't think anyone has really looked into this in any scientific fashion. I could be terribly wrong.
Maybe it would be different now because the NA/EU pro scene is much stronger and there is better streaming technology. We don't really know though.
I think there would certainly be some spillover of people playing UMS/custom maps that would discover esports through that, but I suspect it would be a small proportion of them.

seriously dont get why people are giving incontrol all this hate for a discussion he had on a TALK SHOW, the guy does more for the community in one day than the majority of you will do in a lifetime. im guessing half the people are just butt hurt destiny fans and the other half are the same people who goto NBA/MLB games and heckle players all game and when they finally get acknowledged by said player they get all giddy like a school girl, look at their friend and go " HE LOOKED AT ME!!!"

Wow, that was just uncomfortable to watch. I found myself getting really heated and angry watching Wheat act like such a child after Destiny left. I know I'm insignificant in the long run, but I watch my SC2 content to be entertained/relax, not to get fucking stressed out. All that needs to be said is, I'm glad that SotG is back...

Incontrol in classic fashion building up a speech that is 95% insults and 5 % relevant fact that is useful for the conversation or the community at large, also love how he becomes frozen as soon as he gets confronted in skype when he cant talk crap behind someones back anymore, you just love to insult other players/people as soon as they are not around. Destiny is still right, eventho his post might be counter productive in some ways he is still trying to reach out to blizzard. Far more than idra hating on the game, or incontrol insultning everyone and trying to live on his jokes, funny how you can always tell how much incontrol dislike or dont care at all about painuser, that ignorant look on his face in the webcam anytime someone talks, unless its his highfive man idra. And seriously that highfive was a joke and so unprofessional, grow up already.
I understand Destinys frustration at the end, his end comment is called for and they deserve it. Cant believe people actually defend the circle jerkers after this show, i can say now already that i will not watch ITG again. Some of the main profiles of a great game really show their true colours, lost all my respect for wheat if i ever had any, Eg should really take a stand on Incontrol and Idra.

Incontrol looked dumb on SoTG with Avilo and he still looks dumb.. what's new? He's an embarassment. I don't like Destiny much, but at least his words don't come from a biais of trying to make it look like this game has a future right now, for sponsor reasons.

Then please tell me why they argue with Destiny, who wants the community to rally on making blizzard take notice of all of their practices so that HOPEFULLY they fix all the bullshit for HOTS. Comparing Blizzard to Riot Games, showing how if blizzard acted like riot, then the community wouldnt be mad and have debates like this. (sc2 is not at the place we all want it to be and either we have to fix it (not going to happen with controlled policys of bnet) so we gotta fight for change in HOTS)
Assuming the fact that no changes for the casual players will come from HOTS except 1v1 unranked games, how can pro players be satisfied with this?

I would argue that Destiny has a bias of stirring up drama for viewership reasons. He's pretty good at it too.
