Nice interview even though it seems slightly dated. Since I really wasn't into BW it helped me see what his past was and a first hand look into what the BW pro gaming scene was in South Korea. Thanks for posting!

Good read even though it was slightly long and seems kinda outdated. Enjoyed it nonetheless.

Great article. I agree with Idra that his reputation is over-blown. Idra should be known as more of a guy who says what is on his mind, not someone who is bad mannered or a crybaby (especially that).

Yea, I totally agree with this. I think Idra's reputation has just sort of snowballed and taken on a life of its own. He just doesn't give a f**k what people think, gets pissed sometimes, and it all rubs some people the wrong way who seem to be looking for excused to cry "bad manners".

I'm probably the only one here, but I didn't like where IdrA (or the article's writer) mentioning HD and Husky. I don't see the need to have to name names.

I've been watching HD and Husky's casts since retail, and it's actually funny coz if you listen to HD talk about IdrA, you'd think that he has a man-crush on him (well, not as bad as PsY, though ahahaha!).

I'm a proud IdrA-fanboy, and even moreso if there's in-game BM'ing. Oddly enough, this bm on HD and Husky (which I assume stems from the HDH tournament last year?) seems unnecessary IMO.

GLHF IdrA for NASL!

Great stuff. Wouldn't be complete without the BM towards HD and Husky LOL

Lol. But I have to agree with him. The whole silver, masq thing that happened was blown out of the hole.

The timeline of this article seems so incongruent. The first page covers 18 years, the second page covers a year, the third through ninth cover another year or so, and then the very last little paragraph covers half a year (and very tournament/action packed half year at that).

Look at IdrAs win rates. (hint, they are all around 65%)

Look at Husky's videos and idras win rates (hint, they are around 10-20%).

It's partially his fault people new to the scene assume idra is a dick.

I think those video make idra popular to the new viewers hate or love. If you really want to see how much a dick idra can be i can just go read some old tl threads. ( like the one that how idra whined about his lost to a unknown chinese bw player.)
