Most Protoss max out with, what, six gateways or so? You're planning on spending another 9000 minerals getting to that same point - that's going to take a while to mine. However I look at it, it doesn't work. Obviously massing gateways as fast as possible doesn't work, because when you need your army you won't have any resources to make them with. So let's say that for every gateway you make, you bank 100 extra minerals. So when your opponent attacks and you have 10 gateways, you can make 10 gateway units instead of the 16-19 you could have had. If he waits till you have 20 gateways, you can make 20 gateway units instead of the 41 you could have had. If he waits long enough, you could have been maxed. If he waits until you can max, then a more normal gateway count would have meant you were already maxed with a ton of money in the bank for reinforcements. If he waits until you have maxed and have a ton of money in the bank along with your 65 gateways, then he's clearly slumped dead on his keyboard. No. Max normally, then start adding gateways and banking 100 minerals each. It's the fastest and safest way to get to where you want to be. | ||

Baneling speed nerf? *facepalm* i am toss player... ![]() look at this video : also one more thing i noticed.... i whatched some T v Z and i noticed that zerg almoust made faster and ultralisc then terran replace his sige tanks after sufering defith... simply sige tanks dont do enaph dps... when you nyudus terran simply ultralisc devestate mecha unites when they are out of positione and sige tanks are so hard to replace... also i agree that stim pack simply do to much dps when is in game...but this is yust my opinion and we are all hire to shere i hope ![]() i would like to add one more thing i noticed : mid game late game PvT simply terran cant (agenst High templars Ts and ball of Colloss ) play only with bio ball protoss destroy them after and i think the solution is to svich to mecha play... and only way is by buffing sige tanks in my opininon.. ![]() | ||

You basically have a more powerful, but delayed push as you can have an extra 3 stalkers before wg finishes. It obviously destroys any FE play and, as i mentioned, loses to Robo play. Haven't played many other non-retarded games on PTR to come to any other conclusions yet. i tried one 2gate vs zerg in close positions on Shattered Temple and i got owned by roaches. Granted, i am mid diamond on normal ladder and my opponent claimed to be top 8 masters, so not sure if this means anything. On another note, these midget pylons suck! I can still wall off my nat on Tal'Darim Altar with one pylon though | ||
