Given the number of things Blizzard is developing right now, I highly, highly doubt that. In fact I'd say it's impossible.

Are they only going to add zerg units for hots? Because that would be very annoying if the other races dont get units too, I hope they give us our moneys worth, 60 dollars for an expansion is steep.

(since friends at church want to buy it, but are like "ehh i'll just buy hots and not wol" Yes, but for WoW they often dropped the price drastically when the new expansions came out. You can probably buy both for 60-70 bucks when they release it, rather than 50 now and 50 for the expansion.

No. New units/whatever for all races.

The Map Market is a completely different project according to the leaked timeline. Plus, I read in an interview that they probably will probably delay the map market idea indefinitely and are even considering scrapping it.

I think RPG elements in single player could be fun. It is nice to see they are planning on mixing things up so it wont just be a zerg version of WoL. I am really excited to see what they plan on doing with multiplayer since they have made it clear that it wont just be adding a couple units to the game. That would be a good thing to save for Blizzcon I bet.

Ofcourse they will add new units for other races aswell, Brood War added units for all races as did TFT, this should not be even a question.
You will see tons of topics coming up with units of the SP will make it into the MP, 100% guarrantied some will, not all obviously 1-2 per race.

Humm.. maybe new map features i guess. Think about Xel Naga Towers.

but warning that we won't see any changes or additions to the multiplayer side of StarCraft II at this stage.
Pft, who cares then. The campaign is nice and all, but seeing a preview of it isn't that much of an interest for me personally. The campaign is the campaign.

Ye, well, completely new game are unlikely to be created, but maybe they gonna use like SC2 engine. It was a wild guess however. Lets just wait and see

They only mean RPG elements for the single player campaign... WoL already had some elements approaching that kind of thing, with the armory etc. I assume they mean that instead of only being able to add upgrades to your troops you can add specific upgrades for your heroes too.
sounds pretty much in line with what they've done with WoL so far.

I know they said somewhere, that adding new units isnt completely a plan for an expansion. They wont add new units just for its sake.Maybe 1 more units for each race for multiplayer, and some map features , ex. Xel Naga towers. Some unit adjustments maybe. Maybe some new abilities from new unit. From the zerg perspective i feel like they could completely remove 1 units for add another , coz zerg units are always morphing, if im correct. For terran and protoss i think like its more likely to be few abilties on old units improved / addes.

if there are no lurkers in this expansion I'm gonna cry

What do you think they'll add in multiplayer? In War3 and BW, the games didn't really become big in e-sports until after the expansion. In Sc2, the game an e-sport already so I'm not sure how much they want to change the multiplayer side with an expansion. But if they don't change it that much, it might not be worth the price for the multiplayer changes. However, if WoL multiplayer and HotS multiplayer is not compatible, then they risk either splitting the community or people will be forced to buy HotS just to maintain compatibility with the ladder.

Mmm looks like plans begin 1 year in advance Nice
