Hi there,
I have a question regarding default colors during ladder games. It appears that red and blue are locked but I'm pretty sure I've already seen streams of ladder games with green as the default color.
Is it DAT editing or is there a legit way to change it ?
Wouldn't it be nice anyway to be able to pick a color and make it client side ? This way, every player could pick the same color and would still see his opponent differently.
I'm thinking of one of my friends who's color blind and can have hard times recognizing his units during mirror matches or team games.
I'd like to get your opinion about that, thanks.

On the mini-map, there is a button that "turns on allied colors" you are always green, your allies are always yellow, and your opponent is always red. People did this a lot in BroodWar since Red was one of the easiest to spot on the mini-map.

You can chose to have yourself as green and your enemy red. It's one of the buttons next to the minimap.
One thing i don't like is that in sc2 you can't just make your colors green / red on the minimap alone. i think this was possible in wc3. Like i dont really care what colors the units are themselves in game, but i NEED the enemy to be red on the minimap.

id also like to change my colors im not pick but id rather be the red guy / him be blue or whatever was jsut talknig about this with one of my friends i agre this can be a helpful little option.

Choosing colors would certainly be a nice option. Juste like in QL where you can force your ennemies/allies skins and colors for gaming comfort.
You can already force 'Blue vs Red' though so I don't think it's top priority on Blizzard's to-do list

As for players being green in laddergames; there is a button to the right of the minimap that changes your units to green and the opponents to red. Both of these colours are brighter than the "normal" green and red.
It's called "Color units green, yellow or red based on hostility" (Alt + F)
Edit: people beat me to it.
