Except for, you know, the fact that there's no liquid tanks in his image, the shield is at a different angle, there's no curved kneeguards, and alot more wiring in the sketch

Seems like enough to me to warrant it's own drawing :D

looked it up :p It's a dark templar

This just begs the question though:: WHY ISN'T THE HEAD OF A STALKER CLOAKED?

thats part of the reason why i find the stalker so intriguing. the head it seems is actually that of a protoss , notably a dark templar. it seems the rest of the body is either hidden inside the main shell( i imagine it to be a crippled torso or the likes, ever played warhammer 40000?) or its really just the head attached to a robotic shell. either way the head seems to be a biological component

From the description of the Stalker, I think the head is just a head, maybe not even the actual head of the DT. "Shadow essence" doesn't usually signify "corporeal body".

Probably because they can control the cloak going "on" and "off"
