Hahaha, seeing Artosis ragequit against Day9 made my day. Thanks for the video!

It was not a ragequit, there was no chat in replays at the time this tournament took place. Whatever was said in game was not recorded in the replay. I hate to continue stressing this point, but I don't want misconceptions of Artosis clouding people's understanding of this footage.

Everyone who focuses on things like that are not smart enough to get the true brilliance of the video to begin with. I'd just let it go.

Out of curiosity, did Froz really straight-up quit the game after that? That's what it sounded like he was saying in his interview.

God this is amazing, it's like opening a time capsule that everyone's forgotten about, but contains moments that defined people's futures. Knowing what was to come of these people shapes this video into a mindblowing narrative, really gives you the nerdchills.

There really needs to be a "this is Starcraft" post stickied somewhere. It would include Day[9]'s Episode 100, this footage, Pimpest Plays from bw, and the huge crowds for bw finals. I'm sure there is other content that defines key members and the history of these two games. I'm sure a link to the Starcraft Bible would also be in order. Seriously, great stuff, it's so nice to see these guys even more present today.

Agreed 100%. Mods, if you wanna get more lurkers/browsers into E sports/Starcraft, such a sticky is needed. All of the above oozes epicness.

Wow great video. I've always like Artosis but now he's definitely one of my favorite faces of the SC/SC2 community.

It's amazing how much passion he has for the game. WCG being his highlight of the year, he's ready to quit everything he's doing just for that one tournament?! R-E-S-P-E-C-T

Honestly, I would have been so ashamed to admit that and would feel like such a loser but seeing Artosis so proud of what he likes, and not ashamed to admit it, he has given me a new perspective on life. If you love something, be proud of it, and just do it!

Artosis, Day9, Tasteless, you guys are amazing and deserve to be where you are. These guys should be in a SC2/E-Sports NA HOF.

Thank you so much for the amazing video. You can really feel their passion for StarCraft. I remember meeting Froz at WCG Regionals 2003.

Awwww, thanks guys.

Yes, I watch ALL the Dailies and ALL the GOM shows. I am proud, proud, proud. Ok. Back to lurking quietly...

(ps total disclosure...also love watching Wheat and JP!)

The love within your family glows within day and tasteless, and you should really be proud of what you were able to accomplish. It really gives myself goals for when I grow older and have my own kids.

This, this, a thousand times this.

What a great video, and what a great moment in history to be witness to even if years later. Time to go rewatch daily #100 indeed.

I totally got that same feeling from Day9 daily #100

But Artosis does have the same drive behind him as Day9. They both seem to love Starcraft and love that they love Starcraft. And that is just Awesome with a capital A.

Does that guy have an uncanny resemblance to TLO or what?

Wow great video. I knew Day9 was good, but seeing him play a bit and see what was going on in WCG 2005 is sick. Can't watch this video and not have respect for Artosis, Tasteless and Day9. In 2005 they were 3 of the best players in the US and now they are the 3 best casters in the world.

It's funny to see Artosis and Tasteless just chatting and then 6 years later they are pretty much best buddies and casting on Sc2's main stage.

I just made a go at making a thread like this, but I'm going to need some help with old videos from BW etc. I posted it as I have to work with school and stuff for a little bit but I'd love if you could give me some feedback on what you feel should be included.

Artosis's comments on the end allmost made me cry. He really deserves to be in the sc2 spotlight cus nobody , NOBODY is more dedicated to the game then him. Like he said, he will prob play this game to hes 50, and I believe him

holy fuckin memory lane.

day9 was an incredible player (one of my favourite zergs outisde of korea).

He had impressive execution/mechanics and a nearly unmatched knowledge of the game. If he played sc2 competitively, he'd [easily] be one of the best players in USA.

This video made my day. thanks for sharing.

Amazing stuff, makes me really sad I just quite recently got into BW and missed out on so much of the history as it unfolded.

Tasteless' commentating career must've butchered his voice though, he sounds nothing like his contemporary self in this video.
Dear 허영무, thank you for everything. Oh, and congrats!
