The disappointment in artosis' voice at the end was palpable. How he maintained so much composure in such a difficult circumstance makes me respect him as a person a lot more (even if I think he gets ahead of himself with his theorycrafting lol).

How much did you end up editing out? I kinda want to see the video in its entirety just to see what else was happening. If it is too bad to show then that's okay, but I thought i'd ask

I loved this video, it was so awesome and tied in so well with d9d #100 I ended up rewatching that. Also loved how BNice at the end added what day9, artosis and tasteless are still doing 5+ years after that documentary. That + the music made it feel so much more epic at the end.

I know this is strange, however, I think my favorite moment was at 8:30 when Day9 rubs his face on Artosis' shoulder like a kitten. Such a candid friendship moment! Hah! Well, that or Day9 just wanted to be petted. :-D

AWEsome production, very well done!

A sad thing about there being so many tourneys for SC2 is that it's not so amazing anymore when one of them comes up. I hope NASL etc. can make up for that with fantastic production value, but I'm not sure.
We need to see more fantastically produced content for tournaments like this.

Hey guys,
Some folks earlier in the thread were thinking that it might be cool if this wonderful video were intercut with some of the relevant bits of Day9 daily #100, and I thought it might be a fun thing to take a stab at, particularly after I had some trouble remembering some of Day's descriptions of WCG 2005.

Obviously this is not meant as a replacement or improvement on the original video, which is basically flawless and immaculately edited. Instead it's just sort of a neat experiment. Hopefully the original creators are cool with it, if not I'll take it down.

There really needs to be a "this is Starcraft" post stickied somewhere. It would include Day[9]'s Episode 100, this footage, Pimpest Plays from bw, and the huge crowds for bw finals. I'm sure there is other content that defines key members and the history of these two games. I'm sure a link to the Starcraft Bible would also be in order. Seriously, great stuff, it's so nice to see these guys even more present today.

I was like... "I can't believe he's doing that XD"

It didn't look real, looked like some fake reality shows or something, it's amazing to see how they really are just the same as we see on GSL / D9D

Day9 is clearly more shy and a bit more geeky on this video than he seems today. Love it, like a phase in his story (daily #100) and his transition from geeky guy to total baller.

Nowadays he's just so well-spoken and charismatic, like a professional performer.
