invader graffiti!(may b some zerg worshippers? haha) was gonna make a hole in the wall with a zergling in it but it was very difficult. btw there is a protoss symbol hiding around top left of the pic too =P

Sometimes you will get richer color depth by not starting with grey tones, but rather blocking in colors of different values right away. Just experiment with color and try not to use orange and blue too much. Dont apply color with airbrush. While it can be a useful technique if you want to create a certain atmospheric light, there would still be slight difference in color value between the objects. Perspective is a little off too. gj though

Awesome. Love the progress. As a novice/amateur illustrator myself, it's always cool to see how better artists manage their workflow and what techniques they use.

The picture that actually shows the "steps" of progress is really amazing. Love being able to see the steps of an artist since you can learn things from it.
@ohlala what do you advise using for coloring instead of airbrushing since I tend to do that too :'d

i think he meant a more brushlike brushes. so it isnt all foggy like and too flat and the cloud would be more fluffy(i think it take tons of experience + skill to get good at cloud >.<)

As a side note, it would be cool if you do some protoss too...

You can really see the super detail put into it in the high res one, the "noob" grafiti, the couple watching and the other ships in the skyline.
Too pro.

Analysis? you should really check the broadcasts of that Day[9] dude... he has been playing sc for like forever and does some pretty neat analysis, I've been watching him for a while and it's helping me a lot... for example, that's why I said my macro needs serious improvement and why I stoped whining with comments like "Banelings are overpowered" or "there's no way to beat that"... btw, thanks for the hr pics
