Japanese/Korean Voice Pack//Asian Cd Key

Zplut Germany90 Posts December 18 2010 13:01 GMT #1 Hi, since Iam studying japanese I think it would be nice to also have some japanese spoken while Iam playing Sc2 just to get a better "feel" for the language but I can`t seem to find it. Is there a japanese version out right now? And are there some europeans playing on the asian server? bc I need to start my korea studies soon, so I can get my translator master, I wanted to know how bad the lag is. If the lag is kind of ok I it would be awsome If I could DL the Kor and Jap version with an asian Sc2 key. Thx for any informations

Qweasdzxc 215 Posts December 18 2010 13:15 GMT #2 If i'm not wrong, there are 3 asian servers. 1. Korea 2. Asia (china, taiwan, japan mostly) 3. South-east Asia (singapore, msia, thai etc) You will need a Korean ID (as in real life ID) in order to download the Korean version.. so unless you have some korean friends I dont think it will be possible. No idea about the Asian version. SEA version is only in english but you get access to both SEA and US server with it.

If you want it you'd have to import the Chinese version and obviously. thats in Chinese. Also not entirely true ^^, I was at my Japanese friends house last weekend and we did nothing but play CoD on his PS3. They pick up FPS's but generally only finish the singleplayer and rarely venture online.

There is a Japanese version of vanilla SC1 (Brood War was not released in Japan either). As stated previously, you need a KSSN to play Korean online games including SC2.

lolbolt 206 Posts December 18 2010 16:59 GMT #9 ^Yup there's no Japanese client, you can type kenji tho if u set your keyboard to Japanese keyboard if u wanna mess around with people < No u can't have cheezeburger. i had a hard time setting it up fullscreen mode so i had to use windows(fullscreen) mode to get it to work properly, but still i could only type characters in game and nothing else which sucks. Have fun learning Japanese!
