Do all the buildings that are capable of building units or researching has an "animation" or at least some difference to indicate that it is currently working?
I use Protoss most of the time, so I know for sure all Protoss buildings will show some kind of production or researching animation. For Stargate you can even see the shape of what is being produced.
Is there a list or pictures that I can check or someone can tell me about Zerg and Terran buildings?
This information is very important in scouting, so I would really want to know. (+1 armor for zergling, for example, is quite game changing.)

I don't think evo chambers actually do anything while researching, they might just pulse a bit. Like, the walls of the building twitch around slightly. It's pretty much like that for all zerg buildings. If you scout a building that's moving, chances are, it's upgrading. For example, liquid in spawning pools kind of boils and bit, and the sides squeeze then release. The "mouth" of the roach warren kind of closes a bit, then opens again.

for terran if the lights are flashing it means something is building

evo chambers pulse more/faster kind of like a beating heart when researching
every single zerg building has an animation. the hatchery even has a little movement/steam coming from the very tip top of it

Spawning pool's animation doubles in speed when something is researched. Unsure about other zerg structures though. Addons on terran buildings change their animation when something relevant is produced in the host building (this means a reactor will animate when both production queues are used, and a techlab will go green when a techlab-requiring unit is being produced, not when stuff is being researched).

I love it how protoss buildings are not only so hard to switch tech, it also shows you what unit your gonna make (stargate) you might aswell grant them vision -_-

I thought the stargate always showed a VR outline no matter what you were making? Could be completely wrong here. Will have to go back and check at some point.

Nope, shows the outline of whatever unit you're making.

For Zerg, the buildings do the idle-animation around 3x as fast when they are active.

I guess I just make too many VRs. Awesome little thing Blizzard added in, tho it does obv show the protoss' hand while no other race has to deal with it. Non-issue for the most part tho.

For the spawning pool youll see the waters shake really fast.
