I've purchased it for the first time. I watched GSL2 using the free low quality streams for the games I had time to see, but I missed a fair few matches (including the BoxeR vs Kyrix) as the schedule conflicted with my college classes.
I doubt I'd be able to have a decent HQ streaming here in the UK with 8mps connection, but I plan on watching the VOD's at least this time.
I hope that MLG follow GSL's example so they have a bigger prize pool to award the StarCraft 2 players (and only them, not the other games) in order to attract more players globally who otherwise would not attend due to the low cost/benefit of paying for a flight and not getting enough from the prize money for it being a worthwhile trip. It would also be nice if "premium" viewers are not exposed to those garbage adverts and Octoshape of course.
Yep, i had no issues with the HQ VODS from season 2 either at home or at work. Definitely worth the $15 to me. I'm can't stay up and watch them live, so the VODS are what I'm interested in.
I bought before seing who qualified for it, I expected a lot more protoss (tester, huk, ...) But now i'm kind of sad seing the low P count, I'll probably just watch the P games for this season. I'll wait before buying S4 next time !!
I bought my third ticket. Some will say only suckers pay for sc2 and others will see it as a good value for hours of entertainment.
I am the one who think $15.00 for about a month of watching roughly 50-60 hours of vod's entertaining. Also with the RO64 in season 2 having the 2 times during the day I got to catch some live games in HQ and it worked awesome.
I bought season 1 and 2; I can't watch live so vods are what I am interested in.
However, I wasn't as thrilled about watching them as I thought I would be. I watched pretty much all the vods a lot of it wasn't *that* entertaining. Some was very good, obviosuly like kyrix vs foxer, but a lot of it seemed mediocre.
I will be able to watch some of this first round live though as the times are good and I have thanksgiving break for the wednesday/thursday. I will watch: -ret live at 11 EST on tuesday -all games 11:00 EST wednesday live
and maybe the games thursday morning live. Depends how tired I am; I probably will though. So if those games are good I will buy, or if jinro, ret, and idra all advance (I won't spoil myself on the other foreigners until after I make my decision to buy or not).
I bought one in season 2 and I won't buy one now. I could watch HQ barely 20% of the time without lag.
That said though, I might end up caving if I miss any good games, for the VODs. But I don't know what else I can do however small to make a point and get them to fix their routing to Europe.
The GSL is bringing the big SC1 names over to SC2, making the scene so much more interesting
GOM is bringing us all this action in English.. with two unique, genuinely funny and just plain baller casters.
Thats worth 15 dollars to me.
People are faarrr too used to free stuff on the internet.. they're almost angry when something isn't free.. yet they'll go out and blow 5000 dollars on cheetos, red bull and spot cream a month.
$15 is way too much in my opinion. If it was $5 I would buy without question. If it was $10 I'd at least consider it. Instead I'll try to watch what I can live or read the live report threads.

15$ really isn't much considering the quantity and quality of games. MLG charge 30$ or something along those lines for a weekends worth of content in HQ, and blizzcon was around twice that? 15$ is a really really good price.
Purchased 1 and 2, not yet purchased 3 but I will be. I do not watch games live, and I have time to pre-load every video so the 1M VOD is perfect for me.
Can't watch HQ live, have to go SQ half of the times.
But i watch all the VOD so no problems, and since video are good quality (not like S1), i already get it. (Btw i have to preload the vids but i open more than one vids on firefox tabs and it's fine).
Europe is pain, because the stream travels via usa (done tracert) but well can't do anything.
My isp has garbage transit, i have got issue with youtube and some us websites often.
I bought a pass for S2, and while I'm disappointed with the racial distribution of season 3, I'll still be buying a pass. The quantity and quality (after ro64 mostly) of VODs offered for $15 feels unmatched right now. MLG does great with releasing replays, but a lot of times I really enjoy being able to eat some food while watching a starcraft vod. Replays take a bit more energy to watch.
Then again I'm splitting the cost with a friend, so it's an even better deal for me.

GSL2 (games + interviews) was 48 hours, 52 minutes and 28 seconds of content over 15 days (22.5 GB)
for $15, that's about 30 cents an hour of content, well worth it in my opinion!
