Debating wether or not to buy a third one. As has been mentionned before, the service is iffy to say the least for European viewers.With that said, I was still able to watch about half the games in HQ and I know some of my friends enjoy the VOD access so it's not that bad of a deal overall. Now if only we could get some sign from GOM that things are going to improve...

I'm still taking it under consideration. I've never been able to properly watch the HQ stream and had to resort to the LQ one every time. I did use some VODs though. I will see, still have plenty of time to decide.

I bought the second season ticket in hope that they had improved the stream. I'm going to buy the third season ticket aswell, mainly because of the VODs. But even the vods require preloading in HQ. Artosis said that ALL the money goes to improving the stream, can't see any improvements so far.

i bought season2 but the live stream quality is a LOL so i am considering if i should get it this time :/
HQ speed is simply too slow and i feel like i only paid for VODs more than the whole package like every other 'normal' customers.

gomtv should really QA their europe service. until then, i will see if i will pay for season 3.

I've bought my third season ticket by now, but it's not really all that expensive for a norwegian.

Just having the option of watching Foxer vs kyrix games over and over was worth the small pricetag for season 2, and there was a whole lot of other games worthy of repeating.
My HQ stream works half the time, but I have it basicly for the vods.

The low price for a repurchase (like 15 dollars) makes it worth it imo, it's pizza money. Buy it for the VODs

I don't think S3 is worth it. I'm mainly interested in watching protoss, my fave race, and there aren't enough of them. I don't want to see an absurd amount of TvZ.

Interesting that there are about as many new buyers as there are old buyers who won't buy this season.

Anyway, I bought the S3 ticket, the price for a repurchase is basically 2/3rds of the price of one single new DVD, or just over the price of a movie ticket. It's worth it. Choppy streams don't bother be too much as I'm generally in school when the games are live, I but it for the 720p VODs.

I didn't but a ticket the 1st season, but for the 2nd season I bought the S1+S2 packet to watch all the good games I missed.

i just bought mine, for the 720p VODs - totally worth it

if you are in the US, the live streams should be fine. I watch them sometimes, but it's a bitch getting up at 5 am (or staying up till 2 if you're on West coast)

There's this awesome little website where some dude manages to rip the GOMTV VODs and post them pretty much as soon as they come up and that's how I watched the first season. I was never up for live anyway so I just made sure I didn't get spoiled.

I bought season 2 though, and I'm happy I did, and I plan on buying season 3. Honestly, and this is coming from a guy who has pirated every album I've listened to and every movie I've seen for the past 4 years, I couldn't be happier that I spent the money.

Sure, the VODs load really slowly even on a fast connection and require a lot of pre-buffering, you can't download them even though you paid good money for them, the streams are choppy and I always found myself on the free SQ stream when watching live anyway since the HQ stream was so laggy...

...But this is a corporation that is employing people as dedicated, passionate, and awesome as John, Artosis, and Tasteless (and probably many more that never find their way to the spotlight). and it's doing great things for the scene. How could you argue that it's bad for e-sports to have to pay when you look at the (unprecedented) attention SC2 and GSL are getting compared to BW and seeing what a great thing GOM and tastosis are managing to put out there? The games are incredible, the casting is entertaining and well-informed.

If there's one form of corporate media you should be supporting, it's this one. GOM is actually trying to reach out to the foreign community and get e-sports out there to the world at large, and while they're having hitches and technical problems (mostly because they didn't expect the response to be this large) they're handling it in a way that's honest and they're supporting the scene in a big way.

Not to mention, what better way to support e-sports than helping GOM to prove to foreign broadcasters and to sponsors that it's a profitable endeavor?

well I'm thinking about buying one ..not sure though. I would buy it only for the VODs so I can watch the games at a reasonable time. I'm currently considering either buying a ticket or frapsing everything to watch the games afterward.

it should be the address listed for the bank account or credit card connected to your paypal account

didnt have one for season 1. bought one for season 2 and was really dissappointed. its not fun to see toss losing every game and even the games they won were crappy. i really like to watch the other matchup (tvz), but for me its beaten to death. if i get word that this season was especially great toss-wise, i will buy a ticket and enjoy the vods, but otherwise, no, i dont think so.
