when I try opening the program I get an icon in my taskbar and in my system tray but both of them don't do anything. I might be doing something wrong?

Hey, I can't close ads in the stream player. (ustream)

Also, why can't I put the chat tabs on the top like I could in previous versions? Did I just miss it or something? Its probably there and I just don't notice.. >_<

Also, will ScC have an update option or do we have to redo settings every time theres an update?

Lastly, could you make the order of chat servers be changeable (without having to redo everything)? Like say I want to make TeamLiquid irc the first one and something else second, ect.

Sorry for my overuse of also.

edit: An option to rename streams would be cool too, maybe to the players name instead of.. like Liquid'HuK could be HuK. I mean I don't have any real use for it, but I think it would be nice, I'm sure somebody would like it.

pzea469 - Still it is the Windows Font Size problem right? Can you please check that out? It should be somewhere like Right Click Desktop ->Personalize->Display , and ther should be 2 choices %100 - %125 - %150. The version you have should work as intended with %100 ( default ) but no with other options. If this is your problem , as i said it's already fixed for next version.

theriv - Technically , our stream player is based on IE and unfortunately there isn't a good ad blocker for IE. But there is always , host file editing , check the Settings -> Windows tab

JulianSidewind - Yea that dropbox is glitching , will fix that soon

MeSiaH - This also sounds like the DPI ( Widows Font Size or whatever it's called ( actually doesn't have a name under window settings )) problem. Can you please check ,
Right Click Desktop ->Personalize->Display and "Set Custom Font Size". %125 and %150 is messing up our positioning at the moment. I probably should release a small new version soon as lots of people having this problem.

Mulu - You can toggle Flash Interactivity ( T or icon at top right ) and close OR can edit host file and save yourself from trouble once and for all

Chat tab had "always on top" in previous version? Hmm I don't remember that , gotta check tho lol. Or maybe i misunderstood you?

Well we don't have an import&export settings yet , as we don't have too many complicated settings. But I guess you should be able to copy&paste config files before&after uninstalling by hand and keep your settings , haven't tried yet tho , gotta look into it.

I'll see what I can do about server ordering , but till then you should be able to change t by hand from ScCFloe.config file in ScCalendar/Chat folder. You can see there are "Server" tags under Settings etc. I'm not sure why would you need it tho , can you explain that a little?

Changing stream names could be troubling. It'll be hard to keep it considering you'll get the original name from XML every 10 minutes and I'll have to find&match old name & new name etc. Technically of course I can , but I'm not sure if it worths the risk ( introducing new bugs etc )

Very cool program! I appreciate this from both a convenience standpoint as well as an interface and usability standpoint. It shows a real attention to detail and tons of thought

My one concern is that my task manager shows it's using a lot of ram when simply idle in the background - almost as much ram as firefox with 10 open tabs. I'm on windows 7 64 bit with the latest version of sccalendar. Any thoughts?

m-ray - Thanks man! ScC is easily not a light weight application but still it shouldn't be that bad. Can you tell me more about it ? For example after how many hours and with how many stream players on , you're having that much memory usage etc. Thanks in advance

Well, Tiax;mous, when you first open chat and you right click and then press connect it has the different servers in the order they are added to the list. I think putting them in order of importance would make it much easier to click the one you want, or just make it look better. (Maybe I'm just being way too picky!

) I also re-ordered by hand, was fairly simple, thanks!

By chat tabs on top I'm talking about all the tabs you put up in the chat to connect to an IRC, like the server tab, ect. In the version I last had (from a while back, I always forget to update stuff

) I could put them on the top and still type messages on the bottom, it felt much more clean than when its on bottom, in my opinion.

If I turn off notifications will I still be notified when my favorite stream comes on line? Since I don't want event notifications, are the stream notifications considered different? I haven't tested it to see, but I guess theres no reason not to ask. :D

Mulu - Oh I see , Ok I'll see what I can do about server listing but gotta admit (and as you can guess ) , it's not that high in our to-do list

And yea i took out tab positioning for some reason o0 Can't even remember now tho , so guess I can put it back in...

Hmm I guess turning notifications off blocks them all but yea probably it's better to ahve an option for each feature , calendar & streams ( and rss in future ). We already have one for streams , can't block just calendar events tho.

Mulu - Oh it's not normal especially if you're using Vista/7 , but it's also not that surprising if you're using XP as I didn't had much time to test it on XP. Currently our sounds settings are using some Vista/7 compatible code and yea they may not be working as intended in XP.

Can you give me details about your OS , then I can fix that as soon as possible. It sounds like a big problem......get it? Sounds like big hahaha yea ok I bettert shut up and go back to coding

We've found a strange... bug?
There is some kind of problem with the memory management of the streams window. When you close it still takes up a bit memory.
However, if you close the streams window and open + close settings it resets back to "normal" levels. We have no idea how or why this is happening but it is

(C# has an automated memory management so this really shoudn't be happening)
If you are on a low memory system you might consider using this "fix" until we figure out exactly what's wrong, although the C# garbage collector should kick in and clear this memory right up if it's needed by the system.
