It's sad that blizzard put a new patch during the tournement, affecting all gameplay/builds =(. I am sure that the other zerg players who got eliminated early could have been better with this patch. Stop the hype =p. Please don't disrespect Cool like that. His level of performance has been amazing and he is deserving of all hype he receives. Your post sounds whiny and indignant that it wasn't an all-terran final four instead of just a 3 out of 4. Cool is titty titty bang bang.

Cool deserves every bit of adulation brought on by his amazing skills. I understand that the mechanics changing does influence the meta-game, but Cool had the skills and talent to pick it up and abuse it (if truly there were areas to abuse) and overcame odds to defeat a guy who knocked out MakaPrime (and by no means is Maka a lesser player). And mind you, this is AFTER the 1.1.1 patch where the ultras were 'nerfed' and the insane splash was removed. AND the reaper harass DID do well in the beginning, and his banshee follow-up was what caused him to fall behind (banshees not having been nerfed). Tank damage might have had something to do with it, but overall, Cool just played it cool man. =D

I mean, most likely not because changing your race is a pretty big deal but "wont be chaning now for sure"? by him reaching (maybe winning) the final doesn't make zerg suddenly the strongest race, he even mentioned he would have won 3 out of 100 games versus NLF, and these were those 3. It will sure make him feel better to know its possible lol are you that naive? I don't think anyone thought NLF would win. Example 1: Cool says "I only win 10% vs tester and clide". They both get knocked out of GSL at and Cool steamrolls onwards which makes the 10% figure a little doubtful to say the least. I thought he was exaggerating here. Then he says he would win 3 out of 100 vs NLF and you buy that at face value?? rediculous! More like Cool would win 80+ out of 100 vs NLF and was just being modest Korean style. Please tell me you arent serious....

I think he was trying to be a little modest towards why he won 3 games so convincingly. Especially against Terran. Not that he loses 97 games to NLF.

every time the Terran ball of death moved out to roflstomp everything, he counter attacked and forced NLF to retreat, buying himself time to make defending units. Then after having 1min more to prepare, there's a great unit mix and a perfect flank waiting and the whole T-ball suddenly gets massacred.

Let me tell you something, Cool's play had absolute nothing to do with the patch and the results due to it. He has transcended beyond every other play so far in terms of mechanics, decision making, and flashy play, and absolute genious. He's the new hero of SC2 for a lot of zerg players right now, and to be fair, they need it. His playstyle takes respect, and him changing races despite the hardships he needs to deal with, no matter how much money on the line, is going to be remembered in the early stages of such a legendary game. I hope he makes the right choice, sticks with it, and in time dominate with the other top players for the mother-fuckin swarm in the years to come. Hey, good post man.
