Wow stop crying about how ultras are unfair with this. The fact you click auto repair on your scvs and the PF is unkillable thats stupid.

.. Nothing about the Ultralisk changed apart from the damage...

The Ultralisk has always had it's unique splash cleave...

Oh come on, people. Forget about planetary fortress. It works on every single large building being repaired by scvs. Or every unit that stands beside it for that matter. If one ultralisk can attack from one side and on the other units are dying just because they are standing there, it's clearly a bug so I don't see this discussion going anywhere.

The Blue didn't actually call it a bug, he called it an issue. I expect the formula will be completely redone in the future and they will remove unit radius from the equation. It may not be the nerf Terrans are hoping for, Ultras will probably be much better in situations not involving buildings after they change it.

For those Terran players always whine whenever other 2 races get buffed and got imba. How about hatchery now can be upgraded with spines that deal the same damage as PF and drones can now heal the hatch...would you like that? That's how the zerg players feels when zerg army annihilated by a single PF with scvs repairing it.

Did you test this before the patch? Cuz this wasn't changed according to notes... I believe that what you say is true, but this was in b4 the patch..?

I don't see this lasting too long. It looked ridiculous that the scv's hardly could get near the PF before dying.

Not saying there isn't a need for terran PF nerf but this was just wrong.

So what if I have bio units standing just behind the PF (or just an orbital) to defend against the ultras? They will take splash damage too, which is kinda silly. I can live with the SCV repairing taking damage, but with this mechanic you can basically turn a CC into a big AoE effect

if you actually do a little investigation about the timings needed for zerg to get out a decent number of ultralisks in a serious game you might realize that your affirmation still stands true even with this ridiculous change.

Really disappointed with Starcraft II Zerg! :(
