I know the SF4 team (ricky/justin/marn) are top notched players in their respective games and wonder if EG is one big happy family. Some of us have interacted with the CS guys outside of tournaments.
We generally have at least one dinner together with the other divisions while at events. We also support eachother during matches if we're currently not playing.

aw man, and just after i finally received my cj entus hat i bought online in support of idra he moves to eg... lol. you guys better have some cool swag!

This is awesome because EG is easily my favorite SC2 team, but I'm curious if IdrA choose to non-renew with CJ because this is a better opportunity or was CJ not going to anyway?
Is he now going to live with Tasteless/Artosis or w/e?

Sweet now EG has a good zerg. jkjk

Sigh too bad no super-Liquid-team, would have been cool if Idra was on the same team as Ret & TLO.

I don't really know if I like the IdrA to Lee Jae Dong comparison.. but the best player only worthwhile player on their team being Zerg comparison made me chuckle quite a bit.

EG.IdrA? Damn, that team just keeps getting better.

What is the beef between idrA and Lz ?

There's not really a beef, people just like to stir up drama. Back in beta there were a few times where Lz would play Idra on the ladder and idra would flame lz a bit for his 'non standard' play, and lz would just kind of laugh it off. Lz has repeatedly stated on his streams that he has nothing against idrA and thinks he's a really nice guy irl.

Idra said in an interview he did with Artosis that Lz was the perfect mix of annoying and bad. Idra rags on all of his opponents though so /shrug.

Idra doesn't "rag" on people he thinks are good. That being said, it's obviously a non-issue at this point because now that they're teammates it's doubtful Idra will make any mean (yet hilarious) comments about Lz or any other EG member again.

It's more than that I think, based on what people mentioned before and below this post someone also messaged IdrA in a game and asked why he was BMing a player of Lz's caliber, in which he replied " A Player of Lz's Caliber??? LOL? What's that?" basically. This isn't word for word but he was going on and on about that for a while.
Forget what game that was.

Definitely didn't see this coming LOL.

Keep getting better? Pretty much none of the EG guys have won anything yet. Idra will be their first top player.

No..
EG has top players, but they haven't won anything because there is alot of other top players. That is called competition.
In my eyes, you are saying that everyone else in EG is pretty much worthless, and the only 'carry' is IdrA, and that he will most likely be, but you shouldn't say that none of them aren't top players.

have you read.. anything of this thread at all?
his contract ran out with CJ and IdrA chose not to renew for a few reasons; CJ is contracted with Kespa (or something) and Kespa and Blizzard don't get along, therefor for Idra to play sc2 tournaments he would have to leave CJ and join another team that isn't contracted by Kespa. He also said the training schedule of Korean houses are counter-productive and he would enjoy and benefit from more free time to do as he pleases whilst still practising. Which brings me to another question of yours; IdrA stated that he will be moving into his own place very soon. He stated that in this very interview. I get the feeling you saw the title and just made a reply based on that. do some reading next time, everyone else does it.

Idra is going to do manga scanlations ?
|
SirScoots just dropped on the WCG nationals stream that EG is planning to eventually buy a house in Korea to "embed" their entire team for training on long periods, similar to TL is doing. Pretty big news right? Apparently Nick would be coordinating that as well.
