You spend 2 drones (100 minerals), 2 aborted hatcheries (150 minerals) and 2 evo chambers (150 minerals) for 8(?) time-limited fighters. This couldve been 16 zerglings or 8 drones. The only advantage you gain is that they'll spawn in his base, you could deny his walloff and you confused him. He didnt continue to MULE and he still tried to get a techlab on his Rax instead of just spamming Marines and closing the Walloff with bunkers, supply depots or whatever. He couldve easily defended this.
I like getting the proxy hatchery for proxy creep before lair but i dont see this any efficient once you know about it and just keep cool.
I would like to try to proxy evo chamber once to deny his walloff, go for an zergling allin and bust it as the evo chamber dies and opens the ramp for you.
LOL, i dont think this is trying to be a legit strat dude.

I enjoyed that a lot, cant wait to try it on my OP terran friends ^^ zerg ftw

I did it last night in a 2v2. My partner and I got double Zerg as Random against 2 Terrans. They went reapers and ended up using the reapers to kill it off. 2 dead reapers and 1 dead scv later we were laughing our asses off in Skype. They started talking shit about how they would own us after wards.
35 minutes later we have every expansion with Broodlords, Ultras and Corrupters. It was a blast.

Just beautiful. Simply beautiful.

This video made try something that became very usefull strat in early game. After canceling hatch im placing creep tumor and than I'm hiding baneling nest or other tech structures

Good luck with that, you have to start a Hatch first.

You can do it against a Zerg, but if he pulls the drones he can kill 2 evo's before they pop.

i did that 2 times, and accused of hacking 2 times ^^

LOL I just did this to some guy, ZvZ but I took it a different level. I stole 1 of his gas, then placed 1 evo infront of his other gas, then I managed to pretty much "Manner" pylon him with the other evo chamber. He just left after like another 10 seconds. I laughed so hard.

If you build evos on Zerg creep then they won't die. -.-

Pretty smart idea.

This is hilarious, but not viable. I hope people don't go around trying to get this to work -_-
|
2 Proxy Evo is not viable. 1 Proxy Evo is alright and one marine to kill it would take as much time as a pool would go up, maybe more, but an SCV can't just sit there waiting to wall it off. He'd have to wait an extra 8 seconds for the broodlings to die.
Just trying different build times, but this would definitely be useful on a 2-base map. If you had cross spawns the Terran might have walled off already.

Yea this is most likely the best use of the hatch trick, the only one that might ever make it into pro-play. Still thought for general laddering or surprising someone in general 2 evo proxy might just work sometimes. Personally I'd say come later with your regular army and setup tumors/crawlers if you wanted to proxy with the hatch trick.

1 evo chamber to prevent a repairable wall-in could be viable.
