oookay dood thanks <3 i didn't even know idra recorded the vods though i'm not sure if i have ever checked! nony vods on the other hand i checkem every day at work and when there is not a new one from the previous day i qq a bit inside

This probably comes from having 3 protoss players on the show tonight, but (and correct me if I'm wrong here) didn't they not talk about the implications that the infestor buff is going to have in ZvZ? I mean, the infestor was already a pretty powerful addition in roach versus roach battles, and now with higher DPS and more damage done to armored, it's hard not to imagine that ZvZ will revolve a lot more around the infestor in the coming weeks and months.

Tanks:
oh where do I start. The DPS of a sieged tank doing 35 damage at 3 full f'ing seconds between shots, the slowest in the game by roughly a year, is a wonderful thing against a smart zerg. Speedlings, which can get from out of tank range into, IN tank range within 1 fire cycle. If a zerg has +1 carapace, a tnak will take two shots to kill 1 zergling, and splash up the others but none of them will die.
This doesn't mean to say tanks are BAD against zerg, they're just so stupidly immobile that you can't really siege them in a group anymore, you have to lay them out like 2-3 unit spaces away from each other in the most ridiculously long limbo line, where you'll only really have 4 tanks firing at a time even if you have like 30 tanks.
Protoss: Well, not much to say, protoss has a minimum of 80 life of their units, and that unit happens to be cloaked and deal 45 damage per slice.
Their cheapest unit, a zealot, has like 120 life and 1 armor, and is light so only takes 35 damage a shot from a sieged tank. With charge, the zealot just decides to put some psi blades inside that tanks arclite shock cannons.
I don't want to go on much more, I hate going mech, going air is annoying because if you tech too quickly you fall behind economically or are completely unsafe.
Terran isn't insanely weak or anything but with more and more patch changes and more and more maps tending towards larger sizes which just hurts terran so badly since the zerg are fast, and protoss can warp in units anywhere.
Don't know what else to bother saying. I'll be honest, Terran WAS the strongest for a long time, especially TvZ matchup. But nowadays, TvP, I wouldn't be able to win it with any great success rate, its depressing.

Socke is so cool for waking up early to watch the show, I want to watch the stream again but at 32x speed or something to see the light enter across his room.

socke came off really great, both as a personality and as a pro. I think that PvP discussion is probably the most directed and high level unbiased discussion sotg has ever had which was really cool. Hope to see more of socke in the future.

There was a good vibe on the show with 3 protoss players.
I think the kind of "bonjwa protoss" style that Tyler was talking about could characterize that of Tester in beta and GSL 1 (before he started playing more like Choya.)
