He's an occasional guest of SotG, not one of the hosts (read the OP). The one time GESL was brought up on SoTG involved Azael (I don't even believe IdrA was on the show for that episode), and much of the recent drama referenced has come from reddit and the show GWIN appeared on. If you want SoTG to address GESL further then this is a good place to request it. It also might be a good place to discuss how the content of that SoTG related to the content of GWIN's interview. So far this thread is being mostly used to complain about IdrA or to talk about what GWIN said - not to talk about anything relevant to what was said on SoTG about GESL. I think the whole GESL controversy is worthy of it's own thread and for it to be buried at the back of the giant SoTG thread is honestly kind of sad. The fact that the GWIN interview is being cherry picked for times IdrA may or may not have acted like a dick so people can continue bitching about him after the Avilo incident is even sadder.

Yes, it may have been juvenile to do that out of spite (if that is even the case)... But if a single American pro has the alleged power to "steal" and retain viewership from your entire event, then that says more about your event and maybe you should be looking in the mirror instead of pointing fingers elsewhere. Jus' Sayin' Ya, IdrA better stop streaming, he is killing all the SCII events. ![]() Oh and guys, dont piss IdrA off, or he might just stream during the next Dreamhack or MLG and ruin them as well!

Possibly the most entertaining one as he is always there to keep the comedy flowing. Haters gonna hate. Do something more productive with your energy IMO. You're only hurting yourself.

Read the first post in the thread. He isn't a host. He's been a guest for several episodes. If he's around they'll sometimes have him on, but he is not one of the people running the show (ie: the people who have control of the content). And yes, I do know what cherry picked means. It's an intransitive verb that means "to select from the most desirable". What's happening here is you are cherry picking the juciest IdrA related details from the GWIN interview and ignoring all the other shit he said harmed the GESL and then whining about IdrA in a thread about a show where he occasionally appears as a guest. I don't really care that much though. If you want to continue talking about the GESL and how much you don't like IdrA's attitude in a thread about SoTG have fun doing that. But I'm not the only person who's said to you that this has nothing to do with SoTG.

I want SotG to be the only show, so when it isn't on I get even more hyped for the next one. And if some heathens in our community don't like it, they can fuck off to LoL. They make me so mad, how dare they.

It also gets into the interesting contacting sponsors discussion. It sounded like Destiny really got the boot to get money pushed at Azeal. Wow, Gwin is absolutely steaming, like over the top temper tantrum. I think the stream number thing is nice to refer to but it's not the be all and end all. They go on to say the event was a success so if it was, what's the problem? As long as there are tournaments than market themselves effectively they won't need to worry about numbers, there will be an audience. Given the international and online nature of e sports there will always be an alternative to whatever somebody is watching. It's quite impossible to be the only attraction around. The word of the day is "schadenfreude". ps. We can only summise from these happenings than Twitter is the root of all evil

We can only summise from these happenings than Twitter is the root of all evil I actually think Gwin was pretty reasonable given what he's had to undergo (spending his own money etc.). I don't believe that Idra/EG/whomever was responsible for the event's failure (which seems to have been somewhat implied) but the man has every right to be upset.
