QXC and Idra had a good discussion on the state of ZvT. Incontrol basically instigated the whole event by wanting Avilo on the show when Idra himself stated he didn't want it and it was a bad idea knowing their bad history(Idra and Avilo).Incontrol can come across as a dick sometimes seeing how he wanted to see the clusterfuck that happened between Idra and Avilo. Well he stated he was out of line this time so yeah. Didn't really see much of Tyler.

Anyway, If anyone wants the see the points Idra made in action, you should check out Sculps TvZ games in today NSHoseo v TSL match. For example, in his game against Revival, Sculp went crazy greedy econ play with bio pressure, going for 4 CCs and taking the third at the same time as the zerg who had no way to stop him because he was sitting back defending his three bases with queens. In the end Sculp lost, but the game looked vary balanced in all stages. I would recommend it to all the sad marines ![]() As for the Avilo thing, it was simply a mistake to have him on the show - he brought nothing interesting to the discussion and was just there to argue for arguments sake. JP should get a slap on the wrist for inviting him, but he already got way more shit than it warranted so lets just move on ![]() Looking forward to the next show and am very glad to have Tyler back on the crew ![]()

He may have messed up this time, and Idra messes up constantly, but that is part of the reason they are so distinguishable from other "quality" players that act like robots. I don't know about you or anyone else, but I enjoy listening to REAL banter and behavior over politically correct boring personalities any day. I hate incontrol some days and like him others, but he's fucking entertaining and that's undeniable. People love to hate him. The culture of video games is unique in that it allows above average players to mingle with pro players. This is getting hard to maintain with the increasingly adolescent and butthurt audience. It used to be a fucking honor to have a pro player even mention your name. Now you have an above average player talking shit to pros and expecting to be accommodated with the same respect these guys have had to build for almost a decade. Idra is Idra, he's gonna be a dick. Inc is Inc. They are who they are, and if they change to appease the whiners then the awesome rapport between the audience and pro players will have to change also. I hope they read this stupid posts and just say fuck all and keep doing SOTG the way it started. He used his position to ridicule who has no means to respond in any significant way, regardless of whether or not he's an asshole. In addition, the way Geoff did it was very childish. This isn't about being butthurt, this is about letting them know where the line goes. Making fun of people loses the entirety of it's value if the victim gets hurt from it or is put in a bad light because of it. I am of course not talking about the friendly banter and the hilarious analogies Geoff throws out there most of the time. That's a part of my point too, Geoff can be funny and edgy and be honest in front of the community, and he has both the intelligence and wit to do so without turning into an asshole. Why I am writing about it here is because I wanted to give them feedback. The shit that went down retracted from my experience, it was unnecessary and childish, and I don't think the more mature portion of the viewership went like "WOHOO MORE OF THIS GUYS" after watching that episode.
