The patch was actually supposed to come next week, but because Blizzard time is faster they're releasing it now right before the tournaments.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

Artosis says exactly what HasuObs and Socke said on their german podcast. I tend to agree with them. It makes them much less microintensive.

Mutas will still be viable in midgame but not as an endgame composition. You need a fleet beacon anyway to get a mothership.

I'd like to know what you think about the protoss Phoenix challenge, because it still requires a researched upgraded from fleet beacon, which not many ppl have the time and resources to build half the time anyway.

Geoff is forgetting the Raven.. HSM obliterates brood lords whenever they clump. I think it will replace snipe.

HSM has 6 range, fungal has 9 range. HSM landing is based on your opponent doing a major fuck-up. I can't believe people still don't recognize this.

Damn I did not know the groups for Assembly. Mana, Stephano Nightend and Happy sounds insane! I have no clue who will come out of that, though the favorites are obvious.

Does MLG realize they can bypass the patch changes by merely reverting the patch changes in the custom maps that they use? Am I taking crazy pills or isn't that exactly the same concept that lets SCBW custom maps function? Just revert all the patch changes on each individual map and you're set. Luckily there are only a handful of changes and label the maps pre-patch or w/e. Is there a reason why they aren't doing this?

MLG or even Assembly doesn't have to be ruined by Blizzard's sloppy patch timings.

Splitting brood lords is always hilarious. They're so slow that it never works. Every time you engage they slowly reclump, it's always just a mess.

Yup I try to split but when I have them move to attack they all go and reclump lol. Just ignore the people that say that like I do

Any competent map maker could do it in an HOUR tops considering it's only a handful of important changes and MAYBE 10 maps? I'm seriously wondering why they aren't doing this because it is relatively easy and not all that time consuming for anyone that has used the editor at all before.

It was a mistake - erroneous DMCA violation I think. (I *think* it was actually flagged as being a complaint from MLG...) It was fixed fairly quickly.
