Personally, I am more than 100% fine with what NaNiwa did. Geoff saying how he'd rather NaNi fake it. As a fan, I can tell you that I'm completely fine with what he did. He took a massive pylon shaped shit on the stage of the Blizzard Cup after barely losing three close games and finding himself 100% out of contention with nothing at all but pride to play for. That's also why I'm discounting the ego comment, because truthfully ego would DEMAND that he go out there and bust NesTea's ass all over the stage like he did in both MLG and MLG-GI. I'm a huge NesTea fan (he's why I play zerg now), but I'm fine with both this AND how NaNi acted at Providence. I would MUCH rather my progamers being truthful to both themselves and the game than to fake it. It's like a girl faking an orgasm; it hurts everything more than it helps. And, honestly, what's the difference between doing something to tank the game and leaving early like Idra did for MONTHS on end? | ||

What Naniwa did was not the best decision in the world. I think that's obvious. But do you seriously need to keep arguing that fact, then bring up what his team manager said, after everyone else had already dropped the point? He probe rushed in a match that was worth no money. Am I happy about it? No not really. Would I have been happier seeing a half-assed four gate? Probably not. The long story short is he saved me 5-8 minutes of my life, which was used to make a delicious sandwich. | ||
