I love Brood War and how good people are, even if I have no clue at all about strategy except for its most rudimentary foundations it is still so very rewarding to see how well top Starcraft 1 professionals play. Even if the show doesn't deal with the happenings of Brood War directly having old stories and musings about it fits perfectly with the relaxed discussion amongst friends theme of State of the Game.

It was so much fun for me to see these players talk with such reverence and excitement about something that meant and means so much to them. How can you not love Artosis saying he finds some BW games to be beautiful; I love seeing him talk about games like they are works of art. I thought it was awesome to see such passion and to hear them talk like the old friends they are. People need to relax and remember what makes sotg so great is a bunch of friends talking about what they love. their are thousands of people who watch the show. Just keep in mind that the people who post to complain are a tiny fraction of a percent of the viewership, almost negligible to be honest.

If you are going to watch live though it may be wise to close the chat, it sometimes does dampen the mood.

I mean TSLs are incredibly spread out and get more hype than any other tournament out there I mean honestly TSL 3 was one of the most exciting things ever. personally I think TSL and MLG both are what everyone wants. Pretty sure it should be blizzcon. Regional qualifiers all over the world plus humongous centralized lan. IF only blizzard had a better invite system, but still its the largest scale once a year worldly tournament. I was surprised nobody mentioned it.

It's going to be NesTea + MVP vs Ret and Naniwa, as Select and Sheth will not compete because they are not practicing in Korea. The rest, such as latin america and SEA are even worse than the NA server It's going to be a massacre

Gl with NA vs KR ROFL They are earned spots Socke had to leave for reasons all his own. It is not MLGs fault that there is not more Europeans in the groups. rooting for the Europeans in the open bracket.

Doesn't matter how the pools were made, will still be a low-level tournament except the top 6 T__T

Edit: Aww iNcontroL, this new thing isn't as fun the "Europe ignorance" but it is far more subtle.

I know alotta you guys have direct methods of contacting him, and either know why the balance team has left hydras in the gutter, or the balance team has refused to tell anyone anything about why and it's just a big gray area still. You guys should demand answers and let us know what those answers are. :>

Would love to hear your thoughts on the "revolutionary" PvZ we are seeing in Code A from sage. Looks amazing, is fun to watch but at the same time it seems fragile and we haven't seen a zerg that can hold his 3rd (or main!) to see how its followed up. Since most tosses have stopped (or keep failing) doing 2 base timing pushes a lot of the recent PvZ's on pro level seem to just go into the 30+ minute mark which is kinda weird considering a year ago 4 gate was all the rage, then 6 gate came along, 8 gate joined the party and know most tosses seem.... lost.
