It was so much fun for me to see these players talk with such reverence and excitement about something that meant and means so much to them. How can you not love Artosis saying he finds some BW games to be beautiful; I love seeing him talk about games like they are works of art. I thought it was awesome to see such passion and to hear them talk like the old friends they are. People need to relax and remember what makes sotg so great is a bunch of friends talking about what they love. people will complain about everything.

Koreans will slowly pull away once the game gets figured out and it comes down to refining builds and small little intricacies. Also when the more dedicated progamers switch over, we'll see a whole new ballgame. If you think practicing for 8 hours a day is enough, people like Jaedong and Flash (before his wrists started hurting/he went for surgery) practice for like 12 hours+ regularly. The situation with brood war was entirely different though. The foreign starcraft 2 scene is more developed now than the BW scene ever was, and SC2 requires a lot less mechanical skill, which is what benefits the most from the extra practice. I think the Koreans will always be ahead, but not in the same way Brood War was where no foreigners were able to compete at the highest level.

Just as long as it's not every week, which it won't be If they keep telling stories like the one about Idra being told he had to win or he would be off the team, I'll listen. I feel totally bummed that I missed out on the epic win and the back story behind it. I would love to see Idra dig that deep in the current game and rip it up.

I mean TSLs are incredibly spread out and get more hype than any other tournament out there I mean honestly TSL 3 was one of the most exciting things ever. personally I think TSL and MLG both are what everyone wants. No. Too much lag. No online cross-server tournament can ever decide a "champion", as sad as that is. Until Blizzard works out this latency it will always be that nagging little factor in the back of your mind. =(

I clearly state that if they mesh well, and know both scene's and are willing to stay up that late then it works well. Yeah I'm totally raging -.-' Why do you have to know the American scene to be on sotg? I doubt that the European guests at the time had a very clear view of the American scene, and the podcasts still turned out great. Just saying.

People need to relax and remember what makes sotg so great is a bunch of friends talking about what they love. I just turned it off because I wasn't interested, easy peasy. But by now we should know that there are some people who listen/watch every week and complain every single time.
