Today I played a 40 minute TvT. Most of the game was a stand off, with small skirmishes here and there as we each took control of our half of Lost Temple.

I then make a move to the 3'oclock and destroy his two mining expansions, wiping out his army in the process as he attempted to defend. He then sent 5 BC's towards my base. Before my 15 2-2 Vikings could destroy them this happens:

Thats the first time I receive rage in 150 games

Well I also encountered a guy who said "no need luck" at the starting of a match and ended with a shameful loss on his hands. He didnt say anything but I bet he wasnt really happy after that

9/10 of the "well known" players that i beat always rage quit, very few say gg.

its disheartening, but normal ive noticed.

i played with "SaggyBalls" earlier in my 2v2 placement matches, and i asked him if his balls were saggy. he got really angry and killed his nexus, saying i needed to be taught a lesson.

I haven't had very many since release. My personal favorite was during beta when I opened with the customary "GL HF" followed by "R -> T", because I was playing random and thought I should tell him.
Guy started raging, I guess he was having an off night. "No one fucking means glhf fuck you faggot, and fuck you for telling me your race." he went on for about a minute then said; "Fuck you you nerdy fag, I'm going to go fuck my girl friend", then left. Was one the shortest / funnest games I've ever played.

My opponent built 2 zlots and cannons in front of his choke. Knowing that he was teching, I pushed out with 3-4 gates. That's when I found out he actually had nothing in his base but he had gone proxy stargate and massed 5 void rays. (I internally raged) We end up trading bases and we both built a base somewhere else. I had a bunch of stalkers guarding my nexus but there was a cliff behind the expo so I took control of the high ground, and sure enough, he comes from the opposite side and charges on my nexus. Cool beans.

This one guys called GG for me, he had a mid sized stalker army, i had 3 bases, he killes main, i had like 30 roaches in his base. I drop like 10 spine crawlers at the gold (i had it) and he goes WTF. i won, he told me "Zerg is imba."

i loled.

Protip: If you're going to use the practice partner thread, be prepared to lose to your fellow TL'ers.

Site note: I used void rays in the least "cheesy" way possible, as a late game transition with speed upgraded. Also, it was the first game in which I used them against him.

Recent one I played

PvT (I'm terran)
I just finished my supply depot at 9 and see his probe come in. it paused and moved into the fog of war I followed it and he setup a proxy pylon. Sent 5 SCV to deal with the pylon. He sent another probe to try and set up another pylon. I send an SCV to chase that probe. I finally kill the first pylon and goes after the second one. He just quits lol

I usually preface with gg then follow up with my rage. Pretty much any time i play a PvT I rage against someone. "oh you're that terran who m/m/scv all-in's and has no idea how to actually play this game, right?" "Oh you're that terran that has an amazing 1 build timing push that you pray works on the initial push, right?" "Oh wow you're that north american server terran player!" "Aren't you that terran that does a timing bio push? That I will fail against because the terrans over the last few games went cloaked banshees so i got a robo/obs this game just in case of that." Or, "seriously, wtf? terran? are they weak at anything? Cheese: check, easily defendable fast expo? check. Sick near unbeatable timing pushes? check. Far too easy tech switches off of one base? check." But vs any other race i'm quite manner and say GG.

Well, you were an asshole for calling gg before him, even if you did use a question mark which I doubt.

Anyways, that's all that really gets my goat is when someone types "gg" or says stupid things about how they raped you and asks stupid questions like "how do you feel about that" as they stomp into your base. No big deal though, I just typically calmly remind them what a piece of trash they are for sitting in their parents basement and having no job.

Good times.

I've got 3 of these.

1. 1v1 ZvZ At the end of the beta I decided to go for random and I was placed into gold, so I decided to have a little fun. I randomed z one game and my opponent chose z. I knew he was z so I scouted to make sure that he had no early aggression planned. I came back and scouted again later seeing 14 drones. I assumed that he had put down a pool somewhere because he surrounded my drone as it was going through the mineral line. I put together a force of about 10 zerglings and attacked. To my surprise I find a fully operational natural. I take it out and move onto his main to take the game
Him: all you do is rush lings
Me: Uhh you fast expanded in a zvz
Him: Yeah if I had known you were zerg pussy randomer (leaves)

2. 2v2 on incineration zone vs 2 zergs. I was suspicious so I scouted at 10 drones. Found a double 6 pool so I immediately put down my pool at 11 after extractor trick. Ran around his base with my drone and made his lings chase around my drone for a while before he decided to give up and go for my main. By the time he got to my main I had 6 lings and a spine crawler with a queen on the way. Halfway through his lings coming to my main I put my drone behind his mineral line and morphed it into a spine crawler. They both sucicide their lings trying to kill me off. I'm fine and he somehow doesn't notice a spine crawler has been built in his main. Tries to attack the spine crawler with his 7 drones (Lol) and a queen and kills it after loosing all of his drones.

Him: do you always play with cheese
Me: I'm not the one who 6 pooled

Later that game his partner gets like 20 mutas and tries to kill me off. Kills my natural and a lot of my drones in my main.

Him: Who's trash talking now
My partner: that would be me (he rolled out with a 5 thor mech army)

3. Double 6 pooled I get killed off my partner is terran lifts off and bunkers down in the gold. My partner tells me he's going to lift and I try to type "k" but instead I hit "p" and they respond with "ppppppwned." I start to rage as they're killing my base and they both stop to word bash me not noticing my partner's not there (this was twilight fortress). They notice and try to attack him repeatedly with lings and every time it fails. They decide to tech to mutas but before they can my partner rolls out with 4 cloaked banshees and takes out their entire drone lines. I respond with "pppppwneed"

I was playing a TvZ. I did not cheese him or anything I just slow pushed with siege tanks and he grouped all his hydras up on a choke and let me kill them. 2 Tanks about about 12 marines killed maybe 25 hydras with roaches. This was in platinum by the way.

Anyway... the following conversation ensued.

Him "Hey man I know you won but... could you please leave the game I really care about my record a lot."
Me "No sorry"
Him "I am going to kill myself in real life...seriously if I lose again"
Me "............"
Him "This is my life I have nothing else dude"
AI Voice "Nuclear Launch Detected"
<Has left the game>

I haven't checked if he has logged in since lol.
