5 range? LOL... roaches have 3... so, if Ultras had maybe 1.5 (if thats possible, but for logic sake, that sorta range, aka, just enough to creep the claws over the ling-ling's heads...)

I miss burrow at tier 1 because as my signature suggests burrowed zerglings are my favorite scouts. Thanks a lot, roaches.
With all this talk about the lack of 1 food units it makes me wonder if one of the expansions is going to introduce new t1 staple units for each race. Something like Dark Zealots that are the slightly faster, slightly weaker Zealot cousin, but at Twilight Council you could research ability for two Dark Zealot to morph into a... something fun.

Zerg: Roach armor increased to 2, improved ultralisk pathing.
Protoss: Force field energy cost increased, void ray gas cost nerfed to 200, Archons given more armor and a waaaay more powerful attack (don't know what either is but they're both pretty underwhelming), and that glitch that lets stalkers blink up destructible rocks removed.
Terran: Siege tanks moved up to 4 supply (Because the idea that 1 siege tank takes up only slightly more space than a roach is insane), and the radius in which a sieged tank cannot fire increased (As of now, they can fire on things that are just a few feet away from them. I want them to be inable to fire while sieged within an radius of 5 in order to force terran micro to become existent)

Agreed, ultra pathing and archon buffs make sense...everything else no.
We have a case of the "I'm a zerg player and I can't beat mech". Just gotta figure out what to build and how to manage your guys

Ultra buff, Archon buff is all i want at this point. evrything else in my eyes as P is doable and balanced. Roaches are fine, Mauraders are fine. Tank might need abit of polishing but other then that evrthing seems pretty damn good. the game is seriously insane, and if this game doesnt become the new big Esport phenomenon ill be extreamly suprised and eat my shooes for dinner on Blizzcon 2012-2013 assumeing i get a ticket ^^

Personally I find tanks to be fine but I do believe they should bring back overkill to a certain extent. It shouldn't be as bad a BW but I think it should be still there.. maybe 2 tanks shoot a target that requires 1 shot instead of all of the tanks shooting it?

Archons need some way to get to enemies without dying instantly, maybe an armor buff. Ultras do need changed pathing.
I think that marauders might need a nerf though, maybe less damage vs. Armored- right now they instakill all Protoss tier 1 and kite much too easily. They should at least get killed by immortals in an equal food fight.

I've pre-ordered SC2 from gamestop (2nd week of June) and was under the impression that when the beta came back I would receive a beta key. Is there a process I should follow or just expect a random invite to show up in my email?
Should it be impossible for me specifically to receive an invite/key: 1. Are there keys still for sale? 2. Can you share accounts? 3. What is your best advise?
Lastly, without having the game to tinker around with, is there a wiki-ish with full descriptions of tech trees/unit stats/counters? (anything besides liquipedia?(which is a wonderful resource!))

Someone somewhere else said there would be balance changes in Phase 2. I've always thought Phase 2 was just for Battle.Net stuff. Is there anyone with information out there?
Also, iirc, Blizzard said that there would be a week before the end of beta and release, but that might have changed.

I would really love to see burrow go to Tier 1.
I really do not understand at all, why it is tier 2.
Keep the roach tunneling claws tier 2, make burrow T1.
Zerglings and banelings (with burrow) give zerg a way to defend and set up traps for the mid game. Something to do besides making 5 hatcheries while immediately teching to lair...
Makes Zerg feel more like..well..Zerg.

hmmm... Burrow in T1...
as a zerg player, i'd say make Ultra/Broods on T1, but that wouldn't go over too good with the rest of everyone else... However, burrow in T1 may or may not be an advantage towards zerg because all drones could burrow when being harrased. WHICH MEANS, at that early in the game (when T1.5 at best it out) no, maybe a scan, detection is available, enabling the zerg to NOT need to run away their drones while keeping them all alive.
ALSO, if under attack, just burrow queen/lings until another queen/more lings pop out to fight it off
sounds awesome, but idk, would have to be tested... maybe modded in the editor to see how it works out

I think burrow in t1 initially sounds ridiculously overpowered. Like, Rush to burrow, and then just be immune to damage until they get detection. I mean it might balance out the lack of harass that zerg has, bit still. . .
