New Force Field trapping is a bug.

Yeah, that buff happened because we fixed a bug where Zerglings on creep could actually "run past" a line of Zealots that were blocking a choke point. We have a new fix that will come out in our first patch that will make Force Fields work like they did before AND zerglings will still not be able to run past Zealots. In other words, we didn't do it on purpose, it just happened when we fixed something else. Sorry. =(

oh wow, someone asked a follow up question to the pro maps.

No, Lost Temple will be in that pool. Desert Oasis is in there too (and is pretty big). Some of the pro maps from Broodwar could almost be 3v3 maps. And they are often very technical maps with all kinds of height differences and complex layouts. They are AWESOME for pro play, but can be a little intimidating for many.


so basically if tournaments start using complex maps we will not see them in ladder at all =/ its confirmed now >.<

Every time someone complains about chat channels Blizzard kills a kitten (lol)- stop complaining about chat channels ! (please). They are coming eventually at least in some form. Its really not constructive to keep bringing them up time and time again when Blizzard already said they will come shortly after release.

I am pretty confident they announced that awhile ago . But wont' be at launch anyway which I guess makes sense wonder how they pick the pro's and if hopefully they do another ladder system or something.

One of the big problems esports organizers are facing is that all recent match results are in player profiles - huge spoilers, especially since multiple accounts aren't possible. Do you plan to allow players to hide their recent results to stop spoilers in esports events that aren't played live?

Here is another:
Through battle.net you can access a players history and find out his build order.
This could be exploited in a tournament setting to find out what your opponent has been practicing, any chance on making this private or optional?

Dark Templars are a really awesome unit. We think it's important for other players to be able to scout and see that Dark Templars are a possibility. The Templar Archive just doesn't give enough information about what the other player may be thinking of doing. I doubt we will cut the Dark Shrine anytime soon. If we want to buff DTs we can make the shrine cheaper and/or faster to build.
