On topic tho this stuff really sucks, i was really looking forwards to SC2 but without basic stuff like chat channels and cross region play.

I myself had to cancel my pre order so i could by a u.s copy after finding out NZ/AUS is grouped with SEA (South East Asia)for god knows what reason, but with all the recent interview's im starting to wonder if i should bother.

yea like what the hell. I pre-ordered the collectors edition and put down $50 NZ, so I could get a key and find out how truly bad bnet2.0 is. I purchased it in NZ thinking that I could play with people I know from America, but If on release they force me to play with randoms, not be able to enter tornys with friends or even play custom games with people I know, then i'm going to be a very, very sad panda. Seriously, if people can create a hacked client to connect to a private server for games I would be all in for it. Why support a company that does not support you?

Having to buy another copy of the game to connect to another gateway is a bad joke. Blizzard, putting the epic in fail since 2010... (or did I miss something before this year as well?)

Taking away that experience for both the people that had it before as well as new players is a horrendous mistake and slights the community that they are doing their damndest to alienate.
