Its not childish at all since it has worked in the past more than once.
Its still childish, trying to embarass Bluzzard this way makes me think of a little boy crying in a public place to force his mummy to do what he wants.
What is childish about that? Isn't stating a product has (or hasn't) major flaws what this rating system is made for? If Blizz won't change their opinion it is our good right to give the game a bad rating!

Embarrass them? It's feedback. Yea, it's not the most polite way to go about things, but we've tried that for months and Blizzard has ignored the community. Get off the high horse and realize that the time for constructive, well-written feedback is done. They won't listen to that.

As long as it yields results, childish is just fine. Remember, the said little boy has a pretty good chance of getting things his way.

It wasn't. PGTour and ICCup was. B.net sucked badly too.
The ladder was a joke. It was hack infested, and blizz didn't do anything about it. The latency was rediculous. etc.
Blizzard wasn't good at this before. They never were good at giving the competitive community what we needed. We had to build it ourselves before too.
Just sad to see that they tried to make changes without understanding the actual issues and without learning anything from the past.
The WC3 BNet had:
-Chat rooms -LAN play -Cross server play -Good latency -Statistics (for things like matchup and map win rates, hero useage etc) -Frequent automated tournaments -Locally hosted custom maps -A VASTLY superior ladder system (I actually knew where the fuck I and other players ranked, I could search it and I could look up my own previous games because the match history page actually had the player name and race of my opponent visible without having to enter a seperate page for each game)
And for at least the first few years after release hacks weren't a big problem and ladder ranking actually meant something.
All of the above has been wiped away for its successor and all we have in return is fucking Facebook intergration, which no one asked for and hardly anyone wants.

They are getting tons of negative feedback about bnet 2.0 so they should rework it. People really like the game but the multiplayer client is fucked in so many ways. They need to just suck it up and put the effort into making bnet 2.0 a decent client. They're selling their game short.

^ This If in fact this is true than the worst part about open chat channels won't be a problem... I always though wow chat/spam wasn't all that bad and its in game but you can ignore it easily...
